Long time no see!

How are you my meethe klejo ( sweethearts ) ?

I am fine. I am fine. I'm just going through exam fever. My schedule was very busy and hectic last month, and it has continued into this month, causing me to stop writing. I had even forgotten about the storyline. However, something happened to me the other day, and it inspired me to sit down and write this chapter. As I read through the entire chapter, I realized that I had forgotten about an interesting story. Once again, I made the decision to continue writing, and here is the chapter.

Author's POV

Troy entered his bedroom while engaged in a phone conversation. His fingers absentmindedly ran through his hair as he attentively listened to the person on the other end, biting his lower lip.

"And what about the wound?" Troy uttered these four words, his gaze shifting to where a beautiful lady lay sleeping. She rested on his bed, snugly wrapped in comfortable sheets, peacefully slumbering. Intrigued by the topic she had given him to research, Troy had been diligently seeking answers.

Her bandaged hand lay on the bed, exposed beneath the comforter.

A flashback invaded his thoughts, recalling the moment when she lost consciousness while he tried to coax her into speaking. He had urged her to reveal the identity of the culprit, but her mind was consumed by fear of Jungkook, and she refrained from disclosing the killer's name, the one who disrupted their peace.

"It's evident that she couldn't have inflicted such a painful wound upon herself. Someone else must have harmed her. Inquire about the person," the voice on the phone advised, and Troy fixed his intense gaze on Aziel.

This little bird is hiding something dangerous!

"Alright, Doctor. Thank you for your suggestions. I will definitely inquire about the culprit," Troy replied before bidding farewell and ending the call. He approached the bed and sat beside Aziel's slumbering form. The dark circles under her eyes indicated her lack of sleep, while her slender figure hinted at neglecting self-care. Most significantly,

Her silence echoed her profound fear.

Like boiling water bubbling over, numerous questions erupted in his mind, and only she held the answers. He nervously bit his lower lip and reached for his phone to check something when a message suddenly appeared on the screen. It was from his mom. He read it aloud, "I am coming to visit you, sweetheart," and let out a sigh. With a tap of his fingers on the phone's keyboard, he composed a response.

"I'm currently out for some work. It would be better if you visit me in the evening or tonight," he typed and sent the message. He knew that if his mother visited and discovered Aziel in his house, she would undoubtedly create a disruptive situation for this delicate bird.

"I've already left for your place. Get your ass back home within the next 30 minutes," he read his mother's reply, and he closed his eyes, feeling the weight of the situation. Placing his phone on the bed, he gazed at Aziel and rubbed his face.

He needed to fight for Aziel!

The atmosphere in the meeting was warm, but the silence sent shivers down their spines. Ten men dressed in black stood before the floor-to-ceiling wall of the meeting hall. The interior exuded a mafia-like ambiance, with eerie statues and a floor mat crafted from the skin and fur of animals, heightening the sense of danger. Amidst this menacing setting, a man in his 60s occupied a leather chair at the center.

As the door to the meeting room swung open, someone entered, inadvertently stepping on the lion fur floor mat. He glanced down, then raised his eyes to take in his surroundings. A swift assessment revealed that he was alone in Chang's meeting room, a place that emitted a multitude of negative vibes.
