Chapter 13: Andel's Ambitious Caused Him Captivated

At the other side, William kept wandering around. He was near the border of the light and dark area. "I guess this isn't as easy as I thought. Well, I always wonder what's in that area anyway." William mumbled as he kept walking toward the dark area. "What is with that light anyway? It's like a jet with the speed of light. I wonder where it goes." He kept thinking about the spectrum of light he just saw.

As he kept walking, he finally arrived at the border of the lights, where everything was really dark leaving a small amount of lights from the reflection of the Saturn. He couldn't barely see anything from his sight. "Yep, and it get harder from this on."

In the middle of the mist, he just kept walking until he arrived at some mine which closed a long ago. "Is this what Hugh means? *sigh* What choice do I have anyway. Let's take a rest for a while." He than picked up his tools and tried to breach the mine. After the small door opened up, he managed to get inside.

All he saw was just an used tools, an old generator and a rover which left at the mine. But still, he could find some batteries to lighted up the generator. "This one looked so old. But still can be used I guess." As he tried to fix the generator, the mine suddenly powered on. And he was really shocked as the mine was really huge, with all the old ration which sufficient enough for himself.

"well, I guess I have to wander around first. Damn, how do he know about this place?" As he kept wandering around, he found one rover and a lot of spare part. "I think these should be enough to make one small jet." But as he found some radio, he than remembered to contact Hugh first. Although, the radio couldn't be used.

"One battery should be enough for this radio. And just put the code Hugh gave me, I think all will be done." As he turn the radio on and match the signal as Hugh's code, he tried to reach Hugh through the radio. "Hello? Hugh? Are you there?"

But after a while, he still got no reply. William wasn't really concerned about that. Instead, he still wondered about the spectrum he just saw. He than picked up his tools and build some gadget. He was about to calculated the direction of the lights.

"There's no way!" With all the gadget as it was, he found out the lights was towards the earth. "It can't be a meteor. The direction was to straiht and directed." As he tried to enhance again his gadget, he finally sure it was a jet.

While in his confusing mind, the radio finally got some reply. "William! William!" It was Hugh. But William just replied shortly. "Yes, yes. I am here!" He just put all his attention to his gadget.

"It took longer than I thought," Hugh was ignored by William as he continued his words, "I thought you should met one of the SCU's unit. They must been looking for you out there."

"Well, I guess I got the wrong mine with yours. I crossed the border, it's like all dark over here." William with ease replied Hugh and made Hugh more confused.

"What!? Are you crazy? So where exactly are you now? Damn! You know you were supposed to find a bike and a lot of equipment." Hugh mumbled.

"I can't tell. But it's look like an old mine, abandoned one. Still, a lot of tools and gadgets I can use here. I can even make a simple jet, I guess." William made Hugh staggered and than mention about the spectrum of lights. "Anyway, just after I landed, I saw a spectrum of light. And after I checked, it was a jet. There's no way we have a jet like that one."

"That's why I need your help. It is Lady Raven and Bavel brothers, what you just saw back there wasn't a mistake or a glitch, is a . ." The transmission of the radio suddenly disconnected leaving William in a mist.

"Hugh? Hugh!? Damn, what is he trying to say?"

Hugh's move was caught by Adam Bowen. That's why the transmission suddenly disconnected, and with that, Hugh was captivated by Adam. "I know what are you trying to do." Said Adam tried to intimidate. "I guess I have to lock the three of highers."
