Part 2

Scarlett's pov

Not a day goes by where i don't think about y/n. She's my angel and wherever she is, i know shes strong and shes flourishing. Its now 2018 so y/n will be fifteen in a couple of days. Iv'e told the cast about y/n since they are my second family. They cheer me up whenever i'm down but i still have a massive weight on my shoulders knowing y/n's out there somewhere in this world.

I now have a second daughter who's four, her names Rose and she's crazy. She may keep me busy but nothing keeps my thoughts away from y/n. Rose knows she has a big sister but she doesn't ask where she is, it's like she knows how sensitive the topic is.

I can't believe y/n is nearly fifteen. Iv'e had a day and a half with her in the whole fifteen years of life. Iv'e written a birthday card  to her every year and even a little present to go with it, all of them are at the back of my wardrobe for when i finally do find her i'll give them to her. I missed her first tooth, her first steps, her first word, even her first role over. Whoever stole her from me is going to pay big time. A tear slips down my cheek thinking of what iv'e missed "mommy?" i wipe my tears and turn around "Rosie" i whisper and bend down, she runs into my arms and give me a tight hug "mommy why you crying?" she asks holding my face "i'm just thinking about your sister. I just miss her lots" i tell Rose with glossy eyes "mama, when will they find her? i want to see her" she asks cutely  "i don't know little bean but they are trying their best" i tell my daughter.

Y/ns pov

Hey, i'm y/n. I don't have a family so i live in a children's home in Colorado Springs. No-ones told me anything about my parents, all i know is that i was given away shortly after birth. "Y/n dinner!" Sarah, the head of the house calls from down the stairs, "coming!" i call and run the stairs. Everyone's sitting at the table ready for me to join, i sit opposite the other kids since Sarah and Dave are at the heads of the table. There are 5 other kids which is good because we all sit around the table perfectly. Sarah and Dave took the five of us in so it's more like a foster home,  i like it here i have a nice room and everyone's nice. "did you do your homework?" Sarah asks putting food on my plate "i only have one more assignment left which will take me no more than an hour" i tell her and she puts my food down in-front of me "that's great and then we can have a movie night" she says and everyone cheers. "Lucy, it's your turn to pick a movie tonight. What do you want to watch?" Dave asks and we all look at her "Finding Nemo!" she squeals and the boys all sigh "she always chooses that, can't we watch something else?" they moan "no, be nice" Dave scolds making the two of them sigh loudly.

"y/n what food do you want for your birthday dinner?" Sarah asks making me think "can we go to streetcar 520?" i ask and Sarah nods "of course we can. Is there anything else you want to do that day?" Dave asks "hmm can we go to the Air city trampoline park?" "yeah!" Lucy shouts making Sarah and Dave laugh "of course, that sounds like a perfect idea" Sarah chuckles. 

Two days later

"ITS MY BIRTHDAY!" i yell running down the stairs. I run into the kitchen "woah, calm down kiddo" Dave laughs whilst cutting fruit "happy birthday" Sarah smiles giving me a tight hug "thanks. what's for breakfast?" i ask looking at what she was doing "pancakes with fruit and chocolate sauce. Is that okay?" i nod and jump up onto the counter "happy birthday squirt" Dave says and kisses the top of my head "where's everyone else?" i ask "still in bed. Go and wake them up as it's your birthday" Sarah smirks. We aren't normally allowed to wake each-other up but when it's someone birthday we are "okay!" i cheer and run up the stairs. "wake up!" i say running down the landing banging on everyone's door "y/n stop!" J whines from his room "no it's my birthday. Sarah said you have to get up" i explain when a door opens. Lucy slumps out with bed hair and rubbing her eyes "morning Luc" i smile and she looks at me "happy birthday" she croaks out before going downstairs. "J get up!" i say banging on his door "You too Jason!" i say banging on his door aswell. I run down to Hannah's room "GET UP!" i shout but no answer. I open her door "Sarah!" i shout and run down the stairs "Hannah isn't in her room" i tell the adults who look at each-other "oh not again" they say in unison and Dave runs up the stairs. Sarah continues to do Lucy's hair "has Hannah run away again?" she asks and looks down at Lucy "yeah but we'll find her, we always do" she says smiling softly. Hannah always runs away, she's new here and i'm pretty sure she escapes through her window as there's a drain pipe right near her window. She doesn't talk to anyone, not even Sarah or Dave really.

Scarlett's Pov

Today is y/ns birthday and i never forget, not even when Rose was born. I wake up not wanting to be here today, my baby girl having a birthday away from her proper family. "morning honey" Colin  whispers and rubs my back, I  roll over and look at him "it's y/n's birthday" i whisper sadly "i know" he kisses my cheek. I sit up in bed and rub my face "i miss her so much" i say and start crying. Colin holds my from behind and I cry into my hands "I know. I know. Its going to be alright, I know it" he whispers and kisses the side of my head. After I calm down, I step off the bed and go into the bathroom and get ready for the day. Just thinking that I could be making y/ns favourite breakfast whatever it is today and giving her the best birthday she's ever had breaks my heart. I splash water on my face to get the soap off and patt it dry with a towel "mama isn't it y/ns birthday?" Rose asks sitting on the bed with Colin  "yeah" I smile and sit at the end of the bed "can I draw her a card?" Rose asks helplessly making me nod "of course you can. Do you want me to get the colors?" She shakes her head "come on daddy" she says and both of them walk past me, Colin  kissing the top of my head as Rose drags him to her room. I lay down on the bed and look up at the ceiling "happy birthday my little pea" I whisper hugging a pillow "I love you wherever you are". I join Colin  and Rose in her room "hey" I say sliding my hands into my Jean pockets "mommy look! Daddy helped me" she holds up a picture of four people outside with the iconic sun in the corner of the page "aww bubba, I love it" I say getting emotional. Colin  puts his arm around me and pulls me into him "I'm putting it with her card" Rose smiles and skips out of the room. I wipe my eyes and blink the remaining tears away "god" I say flalping my hands infornt of my face "it's okay" Colin  nods "I know it sounds dumb and makes me not a good mother but I've given up hope Col. She's been gone for fifteen years, whats going to stop it from being another fifteen?" I ask " the cops have been going to every kids home there is in America and social services are looking for any sign they have on her. They'll find her" she says and smiles "I only hopes its soon. I want to hold her" I tell him and he nods "I want to meet her".

Y/ns pov

Sarah has taken the four of us to the Air city trampoline park whilst Dave has gone to find Hannah. She knows its my birthday but she always trys to run away at every opportunity she gets so I'm not surprised. "Look after eachother!" Sarah calls as the four of us run over to the trampolines "Lucy what do you want to go on?" I ask the six year old "that!" She shouts over the noise pointing at the blow up slide "come on then". She takes my hand and we run over to the slide, we climb up the stairs and we both sit at the top "look there's J" I tell her pointing at the two boys in the pit "oh yeah! And there's Sarah" she points to her and she's waving, of course she's waving. We wave back and I hold Lucy's hand "ready?! Three, two, one" I push us off and we go down the slide. Lucy giggles the whole way making me laugh "again!" She screams and run up the stairs once again. "J!" She shouts from the top causing him to look at us "come here" I gesture and he runs over "what?" He asks and I sigh "Lucy wants you" I tell him and he pushes past me. What an ass hole. I follow him up and push him over at the top "what the hell!" He shouts in my face "J come on" Lucy says taking his hand and sitting on the top. They slide down together and I follow shortly after "luc wheres J?" I ask looking around for him "he went to play" she says sadly "oh, pets do something else" I say grabbing her hand and pulling her away from the slide. J knows he shouldn't leave her, expecially in a busy place like this.

"Y/n I'm thirsty" she says "okay, let's go back" I smile and we go over to Sarah. She smiles "you girls having fun?" She asks and we nod "can we have drinks?" I ask and she nods "sure, buy something for J and Jason too" she says handing me 10 dollars. Lucy follows me over to the counter "what do you want?" I ask and she looks in the fridge "hmm fruitshoot" she smiled and takes it out of the fridge. I grab myself a 7up and Jason and J a orange fizz, they love that stuff. I put the drinks on the counter and the woman beeps them through the machine "thats $6" she says and I hand the the note. She gives me the change and I carry the drinks back to the table "here" I say and drop the change into Sarah's hand "thanks. Loo, pass it here" Sarah says opening her hand. Lucy gives her the fruitshoot and Sarah opens it. Lucy sits on her lap and drinks the orange drink whilst I sit on the chair opposite "what happend up there with J?" Sarah asks brushing through Lucy's hair "nothing" I say making her look at me with a stern look "don't lie but you can tell me at home. What do you think you'll do next?" She asks looking down at Lucy "umm the balloon room!" She squeals "I'm going on the zip wire" I tell her "go and get Jason and tell him to come here watch Lucy" Sarah tells me and I put my drink down "okay!". I find the two balls on the beam trying to hit eachother off "oil!" I shout getting their attention "Sarah says you have to look after Lucy. They're at the table" I tell them and find the zip wire.
