We had decided to stay here with my nana because we knew it was best for us. It was very hard because i really missed my little brother and i pray he was safe. We started our new school here and i made way better grades then what i was making when i was living there. I have honor roll now and at my moms i was making D's and F's. We still visit my mom during breaks and stuff and she is doing better than what she used to do. She still drinks but not as heavy, She still takes medication the wrong way but it's a bigger improvement than before. My brother is doing good, he talks a lot now and says my name all the time and how he wants to come
pick me up and how i'm cool because i love him. When i leave after visiting he cries and won't do anything because he says i'm not there. He always wants to call me and talk to me, he is 3 years old now. My older brother G has changed lot though to even though i'm living with him. He has gotten meaner and he's mad over the little things. Him and my dad both do so when there together they often fight. Sometimes Arguing and sometimes physical which scares me because it reminds me of my moms house. When i first moved here for seventh grade when people would make the smallest gestures i would jump because i would think they were going to hit me. Some guy pointed at my shoes and i flinched and put my hands out to block my face. Another time someone had dropped something and i got scared and jumped. I'm doing better now and i can't believe i'm going into 9th grade in 4 days. I'm kind of scared though because my nana can't handle my brothers attitude and says she's going to send us back to our mom. I'm kind of scared to go back because i think she's serious. Let's just pray i stay here with all the new friends i made here. I also hang out with my cousins a lot more now instead of our once a year visits that were akward and only for the holidays!
