Nobody's Business

Devale follows behind both ambulances feeling like shit. Two woman are pregnant by him and both could possibly be loosing their child. He doesn't know how his life has spiraled so out of control. Sure, he loved Khadeen and everything they had built but he always felt like something was missing a void a hole. He had a life but he never felt like he was living it. He could never understand why the puzzle of his life never felt complete and then he met Crystal and everything just seemed to fit. That void was no longer present nor was the hole he felt. It was like every piece of his life finally came together and he was whole. He was actually living life instead of just existing. She made him want to be a better version of himself. Crystal seemed to be his ray of sunshine on a cloudy day she was his clearance in a storm. Her presence always seemed to captivate him beyond earthly measures and her aura had a way of making him beam outwardly. To see the new pep in his step, the joy in his eyes the happiness he exemplified brought him piece of mind. She made him smile so hard so bright his face would hurt because he wasn't use to it. Shaking his head he knows he's in a fucked up situation with two beautiful women and now he's here. Pulling up to the emergency rooms parking lot Devale parks and hops out his car running inside the hospital he quickly finds a nurse and asked her the condition of both Crystal and Khadeen.  He's informed both are with doctors and as soon as they know something he will. He takes a seat but can't sit so much is running through his mind he's lost.

Over in room 1
Khadeen-(crying) Doctor is my baby dead that lady hit me in my stomach trying to kill my baby

Dr.Clark
Mrs. Ellis were you attacked is that what happened?

Khadeen
Yes

Dr. Clark
Ok well we got the bleeding to stop and no you haven't lost the baby, but by my examination the baby does appear to be in distress. We need to run some more test so I'll have a nurse come in do some blood work and do a sonogram. Once we have the results we will speak again. Until then please try to relax and I'll contact the proper authorities about your assault.

Dr. Stewart
Hello Ms. Hayslett. I'm Dr. Stewart and I'll be examining you today what brings you in?

Crystal
Iwas attacked and I'm concerned about my baby

Dr. Stewart
Okay and what exactly happened?

Crystal
Well I was punched in the stomach while fending off my attacker in my home

Dr. Stewart
Okay, are you in any pain right now? Any bleeding?

Crystal
No and No I had initial pain when I was first hit but nothing now? I'm just concerned about my baby

Dr. Stewart
Okay, well let me examine you if you can lay back and let me check you out I'll also be requesting some blood work as well as a sonogram. (Touching stomach)

Crystal
(yells) OUCH that hurts right there

Dr. Stewart- ok I'm going to rush the sonogram and I'll be back shortly

Follow me please so far she's ok we got the bleeding to stop but we are still running more test the doctor will be back in shortly and will be able to bring you up to date with everything better than I can. Dr. Clark is exceptional in his field. So nothing to worry about he can fix any and everything. Here we are I'll be back with the doctor.
