Accidents Happen

Booooooooom.. Khadeen goes flying landing on her side as the car that hits her screeches to a halt and then slowly backs up. The driver door swings open and then shuts as the car races forward barely missing Khadeen's crumbled body and quickly exits the parking lot. Bystanders all begin to gather around Khadeen. A pool of blood begins to seep into her clothing and the ground as everyone who comes over gasps and whispers each telling their version of what happened. Her left leg is left mangled with the bone exposed profusely bleeding and her belly is exposed with rapid movement of fetal distress. With all the commotion the robber from the ice cream parlor is able to get all the money from the register and get away blending in with the crowd of people coming from various stores to see what happened. A nurse who was shopping with her family saw the accident and rushes over to Khadeen. Kneeling down she speaks

Hey what's your name?

Khadeen
Unresponsive

Nurse
Ma'am can you hear me?

Khadeen
Unresponsive

Nurse
Can someone please call 911?

Upon examining her closer the nurse notices that she's pregnant yelling out to tell the ambulance to get there as soon as possible. Checking Khadeens pulse she notices she still has a strong one but there is so much blood loss. Reaching down she frantically takes off her belt wrapping it around Khadeen's leg she ties it off tightly knowing the consequences of waiting to long with a break like this. She begins to speak to an unconscious Khadeen trying to stimulate her to wake up because the situation is very critical for her as well as the baby. Trying not to roll her over because she doesn't know the extent of her injuries, she rips a piece  of her t-shirt and wraps it around Khadeen's head trying to stop the bleeding. The ambulance finally arrives and take over.

Meanwhile
Devale is pacing inside of Crystals ICU room as he joyously smiles knowing that Crystal will be okay. Even though she had to be sedated she was awake her eyes were open, and she was moving her hands. The doctors had all her tubes removed after sedating her. Crystal was examined and had scans done and all were showing she was healing wonderfully the only thing left to do was a X-ray once she was awake again. The doctors assured Devale that Crystal was healing fine and alerted him that she would be sleep for a few hours when she was ready to wake up, she would do so on her own. They also asked that if she woke up acting erratic as before that he alerts them because she could not cause harm to herself if she did that she would need to be restrained. And with that the team of doctors and nurses left. Devale was lost in his thoughts and Jen his phone begins buzzing. Pulling it out and looking at the caller ID Devale sucks his teeth before answering.

Interrupting) What the fuck do you mean unconscious?

Well, Sir she was hit by a car earlier and was unconscious when she was brought in. You are listed as her emergency contact and we need you to get to the hospital as soon as possible please

Devale
Uh is she going to make it?

Sir, I don't have an answer for that the doctor can better explain her condition when you get here.

Devale looks down to see a wide eyed Crystal rubbing her head. Rushing over to her bed he quickly ends the call with the hospital
