My love

The day.

The day had come. Birds were twittering, the sun was shining, felt unrealistically happy even know the tragic events that would happen.
"EVERYBODY OUT!" A butler screamed. "IF YOU WISH TO SEE THE WEDDING, GO SEE IT ON YOUR TV!"
The king ordered no disturbances for the wedding. He wanted to-make the crowd angry from a different place, you could say.
Emma was dressed head to toe in a beautiful dress handmade by Eviliene herself. Emma was smirking knowing that she was about to ruin evileienes life, with 2 simple words. "I do."
The wedding was set, and the king was aligned ready outside. But eviliene was not getting away with being there. She started to walk outside, when Emma stopped her.
"Fancy ruining my wedding, do we?"
"Wha-no...Emma no I would never-"
"You would. I heard about you're little library meet-up. And let's just say, it doesn't even matter. He loves me, not you."
"Just you wait. He'll say yes when I object you!"
"He won't. And you won't be objecting me, either."
Emma then shoved Eviliene into a room and locked the key. There was a window, inside. So Eviliene could see the whole thing.

"Everybody, welcome the bride!" The butler exclaimed.
Emma came swelling down the aisle. Strangely, the king smirked and licked his lips. Eviliene filled with dread. No...he didn't actually fall in love; did he..after the man finished saying the vows, he said:
"Any objections?"
The crowd was silent. Come on, say it, eviliene thought.
"Alright." He paused. "Emma would you like to be the kings faithful wife, and look after both him and the city well?"
"I do."
"And your highness, would you like to be Emma's faithful husband, and look after both her and the city well?"
"I do." He paused thinking what to say. "She's my beloved."
"Alright. You may now KISS THE BRIDE."
The king leaned in quickly and gave her a passionate kiss. He leaned in and did it first, not her. He loved her it seemed. Eviliene was sat there, crying. She had been played. Again.
