DANNY AND DANI PHANTOM: REVENGE OF THE DARK PHANTOMS

Chapter 15: They Have A Spy.

Danny, Dani, Darius and Jessica arrives at Aviano Air Base in Italy. After meeting up with the rest of Reaper Squadron, the four heads for the briefing room where General Hawkins is waiting for them so that he can debrief them on the failed mission to capture the Guys in White's submarine Phonoi.

"The operation has been completed. Stand by for further orders." General Hawkins said.

"Hold on, we still don't know who those shadows were! Why were they after Danny and Danielle? They were using our radio frequency. You mean they aren't a Russian squadron?" Darius said, thinking of the attack by Tomas and Lillian during the mission.

"Impossible. They didn't respond to our IFF. Or maybe... they were there to settle a personal score. There's nothing unusual of people going after the Phantom Twins." General Hawkins said.

"But we don't those people are?" Danny said.

"Or why they attacked us. Well, guess it might've been that way where we came from, but... You know what I'm saying, Danny?" Dani said.

"Yeah, I know what you mean." Danny replied.

"Everyone, here's a question?" Joseph said on the comlink, much to General Hawkins' annoyance.

"That's enough. Remove him from the call." General Hawkins said.

"Wait, wait, don't hang up on me yet. How did they know that we had intelligence on their weapons of mass destruction? They never would taken such actions if they didn't know." Joseph asked.

"They have a spy." Darius replied.

"Better to be suspicious than not, I suppose." General Hawkins said.

"At the very least, we'll have to assume from here on out that they know everything that we do." Joseph said.

"Just like Dan and Dana knowing what we and the rest of the team are up to." Danny said.

"Great, as if the threat from Dan and Dana is bad enough, now we have to deal with another, this time involving the Guys in White, and we thought they were completely destroyed." Dani said.

Danny then let out a chuckle.

"What's so funny?" General Hawkins asked.

"You know, General, all this time, for 15 years, especially when Dani and I were with the Avengers, this massive submarine has been roaming around the Earth, attacking natural ghost portals. Why wasn't Team Phantom told about this?" Danny asked.

"When the Dis-asteroid Incident occurred, the submarine was MIA at the time. Not to mention you were young at the time and it is a military situation." General Hawkins replied.

"Still, the team should have know. It's a Team Phantom situation too." Danny said.

"Speaking of the team, we should contact them to see how they're doing." Dani said.

"Say, Joseph, should we tell the team?" Danny asked.

"Tell them that the faction uses the submarine. Don't say about its capabilities at the moment." Joseph replied.

"Got it." Dani said.

Danny takes one last look at General Hawkins before leaving with Dani. Danny and Dani then entered another room before they pull out two devices and places them on the floor before pressing a button. After a few seconds, they get connected to a holographic channel as holographic projections of Sam and Jacob appear.

"Hey, guys. Been wondering about you two. How it went? Defeated that Guys in White faction?" Jacob asked.

Danny and Dani looked at each other, prompting a sigh from Sam.

"They got away, did they?" Sam asked.

"It's worst than we expected." Danny said.

"Danny, last time we face a large faction of Guys in White agents, they had like 50 men and we still beat them." Sam said.

"How many men are in this faction anyway?" Jacob asked.

"Try 300 men." Danny replied.

"Not smart to gather 300 GIW agents in one location." Jacob said.

"That's because they'll all deploy on a submarine." Dani said.

"Impossible. Never heard of a submarine that can hold 300 men." Sam said.

"Well this one can. Guys in White built it." Danny said.

"And it's pretty massive." Dani said.

"Vlad and his company DALV even funded the building of this sub." Danny said.

"You're kidding?! Wonder what else he has done." Sam said.

"I don't know. Unfortunately, the submarine escape and we don't know where it is or where it's going." Danny said.

"We're on stand by. What are we gonna do? We can't take care of two threats at the same time, with Dan and Dana's army constantly attacking Amity Park and this Guys in White threat. Not to mention the team needs us and worried Dan and Dana needs to be defeated." Dani said.

"I think it's best you two handle that Guys in White submarine." Sam said.

"You sure, Sam?" Danny asked.

"Definitely. The rest of the team is handling Dan and Dana's army quite well. Not to mention Kayla has been a big help." Sam said.

"Who's out on shift now?" Dani asked.

"Mr. and Mrs. Fenton, Sierra, Venus, Victoria, David, Trevor and Kayla." Jacob replied.

"Well, should anything happen. Should Dan and Dana suddenly appear even without the Staff, you let us know." Danny said.

"Got it." Jacob said as he ends his connection.

"Good luck you two. Go get that submarine." Sam said.

"We will." Danny said before Sam ends her connection.

"We should check on our planes and Reaper Squadron while we're on standby." Dani said.

Meanwhile, General Hawkins was in another room talking on his cellphone.

"Yes, Ms. Reyes, the operation failed... The Phantom Twins are better pilots than we thought, at least as civilians... They retreated, their planes got damaged during the battle... Like I said, a retreat is required should their planes gets damaged... I will call them tonight...I have to wait on my source of intel on where the submarine will be heading next... I assure you the assassination mission will be successful on the next mission... they're starting to suspect but I had to reassure them... Yes, ma'am... I'll let you know ASAP... No worries, soon, Danny and Dani Phantom will no longer be a problem. we'll do it for him... Alright, I have to go, take care Ms. Reyes." General Hawkins said before hanging up.

General Hawkins walked out of the room before noticing Danny and Dani talking to Booker and Bruno.

"For him." General Hawkins muttered.
