DANNY AND DANI PHANTOM: REVENGE OF THE DARK PHANTOMS

Chapter 17: Survival Rate.

It's been eight days since the Phonoi escaped and Dan and Dana ended their attack on Amity Park. For the past six days, not much has happened at Amity Park. Team Phantom has been on alert for a possible attack, doing patrols around the city while Manfred continues to monitor the Ghost Zone for any major ecto activity. Tucker also talked to the mayor and got him to evacuate City Hall as well as set up a restricted perimeter around the area due to the active natural ghost portals. So far, nothing has happen. However, the team also have some relief as Siv, Grabacr, Ofnir, Halvar, Ragnar and Rigr has fully recovered and are now prepping the Asgardians draugr army. Frostbite, Dorathea and Pandora also put their armies to stand by and combat ready. However the team is starting to encounter new problems as people around the country are starting to arrive at the town in preparation for the upcoming Dis-asteroid anniversary. Some people have arrived to join the parade to honor Danny and Dani while others to join the anti-ghost and anti-half ghost demonstrations, with some people even showing their disdain towards half ghost hybirds. especially Danny and Dani. The team is doing their best to ensure that the people doesn't get close to City Hall and so far are doing a good job at it. They just hope things goes well and Dan and Dana doesn't attack soon. Meanwhile, Danny and Dani has been at Aviano Air Base in Italy for the past six days with Reaper Squadron, waiting for the next mission to stop the Phonoi. During those six days, Danny and Dani has been informed of what's happening at Amity Park, which they were confused when they learned Dan and Dana stop their attack on the town. Also during their stand by, Danny and Dani are starting to get suspicious about General Hawkins. The two noticed Hawkins' odd behavior whenever he is around them, even noticing him giving glimpses at them, especially Dani, making her uncomfortable. At the same time, General Hawkins has been getting intelligence from his source of intel regarding the Phonoi's whereabouts and its next move. He's also been in contact with some people regarding Danny and Dani. He was currently on his cellphone about them.

"Yes, my source of intel has give me the intelligence I need for the next mission... It will happen today... Yes, Ms. Reyes, I contacted them, they are ready to head down there... I am certain they will succeed this time... Unfortunately I will be in contact with my superiors during this mission so it will be hard not to give hints. Among them is Lieutenant General Thomas Davenport, the uncle of Danielle's boyfriend and father of one of the Reaper pilots... I'm sticking with the same plan as last time... Yes, Ma'am... Will do. I have to go now, the briefing is about to start soon and expecting the call from that CIA analyst... Alright, goodbye, Ms. Reyes." General Hawkins said before hanging up.

General Hawkins exits the room he was in and looks around to make sure no one was around. He then walked down the hallway before encountering Booker.

"There you are Colonel Robinson. I need you to get your squadron and the Phantoms into the briefing room. We finally have the intel on the Phonoi." General Hawkins said.

"Yes, sir. Will do." Booker said.

Moments later, Booker got all of Reaper Squadron as well as Danny and Dani into the briefing room.

"Say, have you two heard from Team Phantom back at Amity Park?" Daniel asked.

"Not much. Been six days since Dan and Dana ended their attack from the town. However, people are starting to travel to Amity Park since the Dis-asteroid anniversary is coming up." Danny replied.

"Yeah, I heard many people goes there on the anniversary." Jessica said.

"Well, it's not just to honor Danny and I, but also demonstrations against ghosts and half ghost hybirds like us, especially me since I'm a clone." Dani said.

"Must have been hard for you two." Bruno said.

"We're used to it now. I kinda figured that even after Dani and I helped saved the world and everybody in it 14 years ago, there were gonna be some people in the world who didn't like the fact that there were half ghost hybirds in the world, and one of them being my clone." Danny said.
