Location: Lirhan, Nico's house, Wattlebrook
"So the king believes there to be another powerful magic wielder in this city," Sigils said, walking as casually as one possibly could.
Biffle looked around. Humans and hybrids were walking around but there weren't many. Wattlebrook was not a big town, so Biffle thought it wouldn't be that hard to find the super.
"How did the king know about this one?" Biffle asked.
"There's a lot of things the king knows," Sigils replied mysteriously.
"What's their power?" Biffle asked.
"Summoner and a power empath," Sigils replied.
"How could someone have two powers?" Biffle wondered.
Sigils shrugged. "I really don't know."
Sigils and biffle were walking trying to find the next super....but kept failing......
~At midnight~
"I don't think we will find that person..it's 1am... " biffle continued..."and we started searching for that person at 8am...
"I know...."sigils said and he sighed
"So what will we say to the king?"biffle asked, scared of how the king will react...
"We'll just tell the truth..."sigils said as they both started to walk to the palace....
Suddenly.......
Sigils and biffle heard a sound....
"You heard that?"biffle asked
"Ya...it's coming from our pocket..."sigils said aa they both started to search...
"Wait....the sensor is beeping..."biffle said
"That means...."sigils said but stopped..
"That person is near...."biffle said the rest
"Let's search..." sigils said as they both went to search him/her....
After searching for about half an hour they finally found the super through their sensor...and they went near him.....
"Uh....hi.."sigils started...
"Umm...hi do i know you both by any chance?"the man asked
"No you don't but-"sigils started but was cutted of by a explosion...
"What the heck is that?"biffle asked as he looked to side where the explosion came from
"Noo! Why right now??"biffle whispered to himself as he spotted some kids trapped there...
"Sigils...can you give me a shield so i go save the kids while you try to stop the explosion?" Biffle asked.
"Sure.. Here you go" sigils said as he gave a protective shield to biffle..
"Ok...I'll be right back," biffle said as he ran saving the kids who were crying for help while being trapped inside the building...
All these time a pair of eyes were watching them in amusement...after the two supers stopped the explosion and they came near the man...
The man who was watching them looked up. His eyes widened at the sight of them.
"You've got, um," the man paused. "Quite powerful powers. Both of you actually."
Sigils' eyes widened in surprise and Biffle smiled at the compliment.
"Thanks," Sigils said with a small smile.
Biffle glanced over at Sigils hoping he had something to say. He was the one. The one they were looking for.
But Sigils didn't say anything, instead glanced over at Biffle to start the conversation.
"Um, Hi! What's your name?" Biffle asked...
"Uh-umm-Nico"the man said...
Sigils took a deep breath. "We need you."
"W-what?"nico stuttered...
"We- we need you"sigils repeated
""Why do you need me?"nico asked
"Uh...the king needs you as an agent just like us two"biffle said
"The king needs me as an agent?"nico asked
"Yea"sigils agreed
"What about my family?," asked Nico. "I can't just leave them here while I go to Vetnis..."
"Well, maybe well, they could move to Vetnis?". Biffle suggested.
Nico shook his head. "Cities are too busy. Especially the capital."
"Um..."
"Nico!" A dog hybrid came from the nearby house. "Mom's looking for- oh." She noticed the other two there. "Can I help you...?" She leaned over to Nico and whispered, "Who are they?"
Nico sighed. "Agents from the King."
Her eyes widened in surprise. "Oh." She paused, but her ears drooped down. It was clear she didn't like them here. "Leave us alone, please, we don't need people like you to, um interfere with our lives."
"Jocelyn," Nico hissed. "That's rude."
"But it's true!" Jocelyn's tail was pointing straight up into the sky. She did this when she was upset, as far as Nico knew, Jocelyn hated the king and his so-called rules for order.
Biffle glanced over at Sigils, hoping he had something to say.
Sigils' eyes narrowed at the sight of the dog hybrid. "We were having a...private discussion."
In response, Jocelyn gave Nico a look, almost as if communicating telepathically, just like how many close relatives can. Nico shook his head.
The hybrid sighed and while walking back to the house, side-eyed the two agents.
Sigils was evidently used to this and brushed off the conversation like it was nothing. "So..will you come?"
Nico gazed back at the direction Jocelyn had walked off. "Do I have to?"
Sigils looked a bit awkward as well. He had assumed that whoever the super was, they were going to be in awe at being selected to help fight against the terrible rebels.
"How about...you ask your family if they want it?" Biffle suggested.
Nico's eyes brightened at the suggestion. "Ok. I'll go ask." He stood up, Sigils and Biffle both realized he was much taller than they had expected. He began to walk away in the same direction Jocelyn walked off, but he was avoiding eye contact with either of them.
Sigils and Biffle looked at each other. That was one way to do it.
