Zera Amidala

Zera Hartwell was just five years old, her bright eyes already reflecting the potential of a young Jedi. Her connection to the Force was undeniable, a raw energy that had been nurtured thanks to Anakin Skywalker. It was he and Padmé Amidala who had discovered her, barely two years old, scavenging for survival on the streets of Daiyu. Anakin had sensed her sensitivity to the Force, and Padmé's compassion had urged them to bring her to Coruscant, where Anakin presented her before the Jedi Council.

Despite reservations, Yoda cast the deciding vote, allowing the toddler to begin her training. Anakin, driven by a sense of responsibility and protectiveness, volunteered to assist in her training. The Council, though hesitant, agreed. Not long after, Padmé approached them with a request to raise the young girl. The Council, wary of the bond already forming between them, reluctantly consented.

Now at five, Zera found herself crouched behind a pillar with Padmé, her small body fidgeting. "We've been here for hours!" she whispered in frustration. In reality, it had been thirty minutes at most.

"Zera," Padmé's voice was calm as she knelt to meet the girl's gaze, gently tucking a loose strand of hair behind her ear. "It won't be much longer now."

Zera sighed, her impatience flickering through her Force connection, but she knew Padmé wouldn't mislead her.
