Turning his attention to his uncle, Mr. Smith, George conveyed his appreciation for the splendid party. "It's a wonderful gathering, Uncle, but something has come up that requires my immediate attention." he explained, a touch of disappointment in his voice. George then embraced his uncle in a quick but warm hug, bidding him farewell.

However, just as George began to make his way toward the exit, his attention was abruptly diverted by a commotion nearby. The sharp sound of glass shattering caught his ears, and he turned to witness a confrontation between a disgruntled woman and a waitress who had accidentally spilled drinks on her.. Ella stepped forward, speaking up on behalf of the waitress. "There's no need to be so rude. It was clearly a mistake," her voice calm but assertive.

The woman who caused the commotion leaves with a smirk on her face. Ella calmly wiped the spilled drinks off the waitress and offered a helping hand, making sure she was alright. The waitress, visibly relieved, expressed her gratitude and assured Ella that she was unharmed.

George, watching this interaction, becomes momentarily distracted. Marcus calls George, reminding him to leave, and he reluctantly tears his gaze away and follows his assistant, leaving the venue behind.

Ella joined Zoey and Peter at their table, the air abuzz with excitement. Zoey couldn't contain herself any longer and shared the news with Ella, "Guess what? I just had a chance encounter with Mr. Lee!" Ella's eyes widened with intrigue as she asked, "Really? Where did he go?" when Zoey replied, "He left already, I'm afraid."

"Oh, damn, I missed him." Disappointment clouded Ella's expression.

Trying to uplift Ella's spirits, Zoey reassured her, "Don't worry, we'll have another opportunity to meet him in just two days. So, no need to fret." Curiosity piqued, Zoey inquired about a recent phone call Ella had received. Ella smiled and revealed, "It was my mom. She's inviting us for a family dinner in a couple of weeks. It's been six long months since I last visited home, and she's really urging us not to miss this special gathering."

Considering the potential future workload, Zoey proposed, "We should definitely go. Who knows, after securing the new project from the Lee Group, our schedules might become overwhelmingly packed, leaving us with little time for personal commitments." Ella, though more cautious, chimed in, "Zoey, let's not get ahead of ourselves. We can't predict what lies ahead for us with this project." Despite her reservations, Ella couldn't help but notice the optimism radiating from Zoey, who replied, "I just have this gut feeling that this project is going to be something remarkable, especially after meeting Mr. Lee."
