"Myaaah!" Grim shot his fire wide spread and hit the three ghosts at once, earning a quiet cheer from the human boy and a curt nod from the horned man.

"Hwaaahhh! We gotta get out of here! Before we get disappeared for good!" The three acted, quickly vanishing from sight. The duo doubted that they really left, but Grim had no such suspicions.

"H-huh? Did we...win?" Yuu chuckled and walked up to Grim, patting him on the head.

"Yes we did, furball. Thanks for your amazing help." The boy praised, Grim becoming ecstatic at the recognition.

"A rather splendid show, Grim." Y/N, having finally called the beast by his name, praised even further, a gentle smile on his face.

"..A little brother for my Child Yuu, perhaps?" The taller man mumbled to himself, looking at the beast with half closed eyes.

"Ah geez.. I was scared outta my-- I mean, they didn't faze me one bit! Just a walk in the park for a mage if my caliber! Whaddaya got to say now, ghosties! That's right!" Grim was easily caught up in the praise, but the duo didn't mind. The beast was beginning to rub off on them, so his antics seemed abit cute.

"Good evening. In another gesture of my immense kindness, I have brought you dinner." The voice of Dire Crowley echoed through the hall, the obvious sound of hid shoes coming up the stairs.

"Uh oh- Mr.Praise Me is here.."

"Child Yuu.. haa..."

"Wait. That's the creature we ejected for causing trouble at orientation! What is it doing here?!" Dire Crowley, after reaching the top of the stairs, noticed the little beast infront of the human boy.

"Takin' care of yer ghost problem, that's what. You're welcome, by the way!" Grim had a smug look, but it was quickly wiped away by Yuu, who tapped his nose in a way of discipline.

"What is the meaning of this, Yuu?" Dire Crowley looked between the two, a frown evident on his face.

"Ehm.. I went to look for some buckets and got spooked by some ghosts? Grim helped chase them off..?" The human boy did his best to explain, but many vital points were left out. Y/N sighed and explained in his stead.

...

"I see.. But you know, on that topic, I do seem to recall that this dorm had a mischievous ghost problem. Ah, yes... That's why it was abandoned, in fact. The ghosts scared away all the students." Dire Crowley recalled a vital piece of information too late. Yuu sighed while the horned man had a look of disappointment.

"..I know we gave him some credit earlier, but can I take it back now?"

"Leave it be, Child Yuu.."

"And you're saying these two joined forces to drive thr ghosts away?" Dire Crowley was then pardoned by Grim.
