The heat is unbearable.
They've been walking for days. Weeks. Maybe even months.
Food and water levels are incredibly low.
So is morale.
Y/N walks quietly beside her mother.
It's been tough lately.
They lost the prison. They lost the idea of Terminus. They lost Gabe's church. Then they lost the idea of Noah's community.
Beth, Tyreese, Bob, and Hershel are dead.
Eugene lied to everyone. He can't save the world. They can't go back to the way things were.
Y/N is still young. People treat her like she's younger than she is which makes her angry.
She may be young, but she's strong. She's been through a lot.
She's lost her father. Her uncle. Her baby brother.
Even the woman that her mother saved all those months ago, Andrea. She was like an aunt to her.
The three of them spent a lot of time together. Andrea was sick. Really sick. They helped her the best they could.
Then they found Woodbury.
Michonne didn't think it was a safe place for her daughter. So the two of them left. Andrea stayed behind, betraying the Hawthornes.
Shortly after leaving, they found the prison. Rick and his group took them in.
Eventually the governor attacked and they lost it. Now, here they are.
Walking down the streets of... somewhere.
They're not in Georgia anymore. The group doesn't have a set location.
They just walk in hopes of finding something. Anything.

A voice calling for her, snaps her out of her thoughts. She looks toward the voice to see her mom handing her a nearly empty water bottle.
