He swore to everyone that he definitely saw a woman standing on top of the huge rocks.

Rhaenyra also had difficulties believing his son but when later that night, she looked at the rock Luce talked about earlier, she saw the woman as well.

Rhaenyra felt a shiver run down her spine as she locked eyes with the woman. She looked away for just a second and by the time Rhaenyra looked back, she was gone.

"You took him from me." the voice behind her made her jump in fear. "You will marry him to someone else, she doesn't deserve him, you know that, I know that." Rhaenyra locked eyes with you once more. You were drenched from the rain. "All I ever wanted was Jace, I gave you everything, protection on my island, let you live in this castle and fended off any harm. Ships, even dragons. And this is how you repay me?" Rhaenyra was confused, but now she could recall the sunken ships, the drowned dragons that came for her and her family.

"What are you?"

You could sense the fear in her voice, she was obviously waiting for her men to arrive but you weren't stupid.

"I have lived a long long life. Tied to this place since the day of my death, I watched them build this castle, ruin it, rebuild and more. I watched you. I know everything. And I love your son. So much."

"What do you want?"

"I want to be loved. I want someone to love me. And I fell in love with your son."

"I don't know who you are or what you are talking about but you need to leave. My knights will escort you."

"My name is Y/N." Rhaenyra looked at you first the first time not behind you, you looked sad.

"How do you know my son is betrothed?"

"She won't love him like I do. I know everything. I hear everything."

"You are clearly not in the right state of mind. I don't know how you got here, but my knights will guide you to the-"

"If anyone, you are the intruder here. I watched everything from the rocks. I know everything, Rhaenyra." you heard people approaching behind you. Turning the corner was her two sons.
