chapter 10

Jungkook groggily opened his eyes as the sunlight peeking through his window slowly roused him from his slumber. He sat upon his bed, stretching his arms and letting out a yawn before glancing at the clock on his nightstand. It was already 7:30 in the morning, and he had a job interview at Wang's company .

stretching his arms, taking in a deep breath. He smiled as he looked around his room, grateful for another day. Jungkook's mother then knocked on his door before entering with a tray of breakfast, "Good morning, Jungkook! I made you some breakfast, you have a big day ahead of you." She said as she placed the tray on his bed.

Jungkook smiled at his mother, "Thank you, mom." He said as he sat up in bed to start eating his breakfast. After finishing the meal, he got up to take a quick shower. As he got dressed, he made his bed, tidied his room, and checked his phone to make sure he had everything he needed for the interview.

His eyes went towards the appointment card given to him by that unknown man , he was so in his thought that he didn't knew his mother came in the room.

with a warm smile his mother asked, "Are you ready, Jungkook? I'm so proud of you for applying, I know you'll do great." she handed him a file with his documents, "Make sure you have everything you need, okay?"

Jungkook took the file and looked it over, "Yeah, thanks, mom." He said with a smile. After a few last-minute checks, he left his house and headed towards Wang's company for his interview.

Upon arriving at the company, he took a deep breath and entered the building. As he waited in the reception area, he carefully rehearsed the answers to the questions he knew would be asked of him.

A hour later a man around his age came to him and said "you are Jeon Jungkook right? You have a special appointment for interview with mr. Wang come with me."

Jungkook just followed the man infront of him without any clue. As they entered the lift the man speak "my name is Kim namjoon I'm the P. A of the chairman or mr Wang's father."

Nodding his head Jungkook just stood straight. Soon the lift opened and both of them walked towards a room.

"You can go inside sir is waiting"  namjoon said.

Walking inside Jungkook just stood straight infront of Jackson who was smoking, soon both of their eyes met Jackson smiled and asked Jungkook to sit, on the other hand seeing y/n's murderer infront of him Jungkook's eye's lit with the fire of revenge.

Clearing the thought he went to sit infront of Jackson. Soon the interview was over and Jackson smiled saying "didn't knew that a poor kid like you without any experience can be this Great. you are selected for the position of my P. A."

Thanking Jackson Jungkook went outside and sigh . Soon namjoon joins him and leads him to the basement as he was given a ride by the company.

When both of them reaches basement namjoon grabs the wrist of Jungkook and  hids behind a wall and says "you have to be really secretive while doing work as for me I'm the one who gave you appointment card in the park that day."

Hearing that Jungkook's eye's widened and he said "what , then what are you doing here i don't understand what is happening."

Namjoon Sighs and tells Jungkook to sit in his car so they will talk while driving.

Few minutes passed in the car when namjoon speaks "i am the cousin brother of late park jimin , we were more like real brothers , i loved him more than my own real siblings. When that day i heard he died in a car accident and y/n was missing, i was collapsed."

"Everyone  said that it was y/n  who killed jimin and showed it as the accident and run away because she didn't wanted to marry him. But I knew it was a lie y/n could never do that , i was suspicious of Jackson from the starting."

"So  i looked for y/n everywhere and then i took the blackbox of the car parked that day in front of that abandoned house , i saw how she and Jimin was killed ."

"Saving  the video i was going to police station the next day but when it played there was nothing because someone deleted the video".

"After  finding who did it i killed that person to hide my identity so i can work in the Wang's company to collect evidence."

Jungkook nodded listening to him and said "i will surely help you with anything i can ."

Namjoon thanked him and left him at his house.

Jungkook's mother eagerly awaited his return. "How did it go, Jungkook?" she asked.

Jungkook smiled at her, "I think it went well, mom. The interviewer seemed impressed with my qualifications and the answers I gave." He said as he sat down to relax.

His mother beamed with pride, "I knew you'd do great, Jungkook. I'm so proud of you." She said as she hugged him.

Jungkook smiled and hugged his mother back, grateful for her support and love. He felt confident about his future and was excited to see what it held.

But deep down he knew he has a big motive to do, to take the revenge by collecting the evidence so y/n can finally get in ease.

"Don't worry y/n just few weeks more and then he will be in front of you begging for his life" Jungkook mumbled Beneath his breath.
