chapter 8

'My name is Kim y/n , i was living a perfect life , a perfect family , nothing to worry about but one day our life shattered like a glass'.

Y/n pov

Knock knock , banging on the door , loudly a voice spoke 'y/n get your ass down here now , your father and i have to go early , get up fast'.

Hearing the loud voice you got up from the bed and did you morning routine.

Walking downstairs you saw your father and mother laughing at something while talking at the table . Seeing them a smile crept on your face.

'Hey dad , hey mom good morning' you said while smiling.

'Hey my princess come here' your dad replied smiling.

Walking upto the table , you sat down and began eating, everything was fine all of you were laughing while having your breakfast until a loud thud voice came .

Looking up from your food you saw your father on the floor clutching his left side chest with his right hand.

Worried you didn't knew what to do , everything went in slow motion, you could hear everyone screaming and shouting but your body couldn't move.

Suddenly you felt a jerk and saw your mother shaking you , coming out of your trance you heard her saying 'y/n you okay , nothing happened, everything is fine be calm ok' .

Soon ambulance came and now you saw your father laid in the stretcher. Moving towards the ICU , the door shut on your face and you turned around to see your mother crying while sitting on the seat.

Walking near , you sat beside her and embraced her in big hug .

Hours passed and soon the docter came outside, rushing to them you asked 'how is father docter , is he Okay?'

Sighing the docter said 'he is fine but for now , he got an heart attack and most probably we don't how much time is left only 35 percent of his heart is working sometimes people with 35 percent lives a long life but we can't ressure, in this State we think he should take rest from his work , if more stress would be taken another attack won't take time , and we don't know if he will be fine'.

Hearing everything, your World collapsed. Your father worked  day and night just to give his family all the riches and luxuries, he was a role model to you once there was a time when your family didn't even have money to eat food and now you can buy anything with just a single tap.

'I think that's why people say money can't buy everything' saying this you went towards the reception to pay the amount of the treatment.

After discharging your father from hospital all of you went home . Walking inside with your father on the wheelchair you helped him to sit on the couch, not much later few men walked inside the house and stood infront of you.

Recognising them is seconds your bowed and said 'good afternoon sir' .

'How many times I have told you not to call me sir I am your father's P. A , you should just call me by my name'.

'No sir you are elder and with much respect you are a family member too i can't mention your name it's not my manners' you said smiling.

'Well whatever you like y/n , and yeah how is sir doing is he fine' asked P. A

'Yes sir he is fine now , i hope you got to know everything from the doctor' you replied.

'Well that's the main thing I want to talk about. You know y/n we don't know for how long sir is alive and we got a news from our sources that few shareholders really want sir to die soon as the company's president position will be vacant. So we want if you can-'

Cutting P. A in the middle you said 'what , me no - no i can't do this I'm just 19 and isn't even know anything how can I just take the position'.

'Listen miss y/n it's for the betterment of the company, if now you don't take the Position, someone else will and we know that no one in the company is honest and we can't let the future of this company which is the result of your father's hard-work to go in vain.

After 3 years....

These three years passed in a blink and now the Kim company was the top ranked company in whole Asia.

Taking over the company was not an easy task for you, many shareholders didn't like that a women will lead them , but just after few deals, your success shut their mouths with a slap.

Walking in your cabin you took your coat and hang it up on the chair and you stood in front of the glass wall watching the city lit up in night.

Chuckling you said 'who thought that a girl who wanted a normal life , will soon became a president of a reputed company. I really wished a normal life , going to University having friends'.

'Miss y/n' , saying your P. A walked inside and said 'your father wants to meet you its something important'.

'Huh , but i have an important meeting sir it's a big deal , is it related to his health, is he okay ' you asked bombarding him with question.

'Its nothing serious ma'am you can attend your meeting then we will go to meet your father' .

Nodding you head you walked towards the meeting room , but soon an impact made you landing on the floor.

'Ouch my back'., Saying this you tried standing but soon a hand was visible in your sight. Looking for the owner of the hand you saw none other than park jimin president of jimin enterprises standing while waiting for you to take his hand .

Accepting his help you stood up and dusted your coat.

'Well I'm sorry to hurt a beautiful lady' said park jimin while kissing the top of your hand .

Blushing hard you took your hand back and replied 'nice to meet you Mr park shall we go , we have a meeting together'.

Smiling, jimin replied 'well a beautiful lady like you shouldn't use Mr. for a handsome men like me , you can call me jimin , drop the formalities'.

Smiling like an idiot you just walked while bumping your shoulder to his , as you were going to open the meeting room door jimin opened it and bowed while signalling you to go inside nodding your head you took a step but soon jimin grabbed your wrist and whispered near your ear 'i wish I get to know you more than this meeting Princess'.

Saying this jimin walked towards his seat while you stood there remembering what he said , only your father called you princess but the way he said you felt butterflies in your stomach.

'Shall we start miss y/n or you are going to stand and  blush there'.

Getting embarrassed you ran towards your seat and the meeting started.

While jimin was just smiling looking at your face.
