My Career 2 - Web Development

Hello y'all, I hope you all are good in health and in a great mood! I am back with another chapter regarding my career! Here we will be talking about something interesting because this thing is one of my favorites as I created my bot's website and got a success (tho the plan failed, will tell later). So let's start the story!

After completing Python course 2 times (in order to learn everything), I started moving into web development. I knew HTML which I learned in 9th or something, and then I didn't revise it. I combined Python and HTML skills to open up a web server. I used Flask module to do this. Flask is a good module for beginners but if you want a full control on your creativity in web designing then Django is really cool plan and you are good to go after that. But here, I am just going to talk about my Flask journey because I haven't started Django Framework. So, I learnt web designing from youtube and with limited knowledge of HTML, I could complete the work. Soon I got to know that CSS was also a thing used to enhance appearance of your webpage, and not just a simple enhancement. The enhancement is marvelous, helping you with animations, buttons, search, navigation bars and stuff. The famous websites you have seen till now, are all made using CSS. So, I learnt CSS not completely though, just with the tutorial. This was me in 2022. So, here's a thing called Bootstrap which lets you copy CSS codes and beautify your webpage even more with nice navbars, cool buttons, popups, scrollbars and many more! So when I started making a website of my own, then I used 95% Bootstrap codes and this was one of my biggest mistakes. It's not that the codes were buggy or something. I said it because, I just copied pasted various elements not using my own creativity, which made me unsuccessful because I couldn't set most of the CSS elements according to my creativity as I was completely reliable on Bootstrap and didn't know much CSS. 

Well, after few days, I started making a website for my own bot, Purrbot. I can say that I did it, but the main problem was deployment because I couldn't launch my website for 24x7 as it requires money and I needed to buy a domain name (with money ofc)! If you don't know what's a domain name, then it's just name of the website, like 'youtube' is a domain name in www.youtube.com. So,  continuing forward, I tried to accomplish one task and that is 24x7 website active. One way was to use a web server called Heroku. I set it up and was almost complete but then Heroku started acting up and told that I can't do so as I am not the owner of this code! Like what? I spent almost 2 months to complete this task and then some website is telling that I am not the owner of my own code. Wow, that was really new for me. My bot was just one inch far from getting it's own website. This broke me so much that I stopped coding my bot too as I told in earlier chapter. I left web development for good and thought that I wouldn't come back until 2023 came :p

I started learning more things regarding coding, I became more curious for it and started learning even more things than I used to. Earlier I only used to learn only Python and discord bot development, that's all. But this 2023, I made a return with new ideas and with an updated version of Purrfect!
