Hitomi cried in pain, "I-izaya!?"
"You let him take you. You wanted to leave with him didn't you?"
"What!? That's not true!"
"You want to get away from me."
"No, Izaya! I love you! I don't care about Shi-" Hitomi got cut off by Izaya grabbing her jaw.
"Don't you dare speak his name!" he growled. "I'm not letting you out of my sight. You need to learn to remember who you belong to. You got that!?" Hitomi nodded, her chestnut hair falling over her eyes as she held her bleeding hand. "Good. Then go upstairs and take a shower. That monster got his filth all over you."
Hitomi left to the shower focusing on trying to stop the bleeding of her hand. She stayed in there for a little while then got out without turning the shower off. She looked at her hand then into the fogged mirror. Wiping the condensation away she saw her face. Her eyes were red with dark circles and her face was puffy. "I love him." she reminded herself. She hugged a towel around her and was gonna reach to turn off the water but changed her mind. Instead she sat on the ground in front of the bathroom door crying.

Back at Shinra's things we're complicated. "Celty! Lay him on the sofa!" Celty did as instructed. "My god what did Izaya do to him!? Hurry get some bandages and the rest of my supplies!" Celty ran over to the cupboards grabbing what she could and more with her shadows. "Shizuo? Shizuo you there!? Come on." Shinra took the bandages from. Her wrapping him in them. "He's loosing too much blood. We need a hospital."
Celty nodded picking him up with her shadows and taking Shizuo onto her bike. They rode off, Shinra then decided to take action and call Izaya. Unfortunately the informant was 'away from his phone' at the moment. He tried a few more times but he knew it was pointless. "How could this have happened ..." he said sitting on the couch with his head in his hands.

Izaya looked at his phone as it continued to ring with the same name popping up on the screen each time. He smirked at Shinra's attempt to reach out to him, "So... he thinks I'm gonna feel guilty, does he? You'd think a doctor would be smarter than that." The informant looked up at the stairs still waiting for Hitomi to come down but she didn't. Growing concerned he went up the stairs to check on her. As he approached the bathroom door he could still hear the sound of the rushing water from the shower. He knocked on the door and waited for a reply, nothing. "Hitomi? You alright in there?" Nothing. "Hitomi??" Silence, utter silence. He grabbed the knob about to go in but there was a force pushing against him. "What the- Hitomi open the door!" He said pushing more. His added force was equaled by her pushing back. "Hitomi!!" He yelled slamming through. A thump came on the other side. He went in, steam from the shower covering the room. A whimper of pain came out of the corner, the red eyed man turned to see his most prized possesion curled up and some blood running down her forehead. She must've hurt it after he pushed through. Izaya kneeled down to her, and examined her injury. "Don't worry, you're gonna be fine." He reassured her, kissing her forehead softly. Hitomi weakly pushed him away, not even looking him in the eye. "Mad at me?" He said taking the hand he had cut. "Well I'm not pleased with you either." He ran his thumb over the dormant cut.
"I didn't do anything."
"You do more than you think.."
"He took me. I couldn't do anything."
"I know."
"Then what --"
"Where was your attempt to leave when you got to Shinra's? Shizu-chan wasn't there the entire time. You had thirty minutes to leave and you did nothing."
"I... wait, how do you even know that?"
"I'll explain later but right now answer my question."
"I just... I was waiting for you." He didn't say anything he just looked at her blankly. "Why don't you believe me? I don't know how much longer I can put up with this. I've told you I love you and no one else. But --"
"Do what I say from now on and we won't have a problem. You're carrying my kid remember." he kindly layed his have on her stomach. "If we lose it cause of you I won't ever forgive you."
"What makes you think I'd hurt it? Look what you did to me! You treat me like trash!" she said holding her hand up as her first example.
"Hito-chan..."
"No! Shut up! I can't! I feel like you hate me no matter what! I shouldn't be here! There's nothing for me here!"
Izaya laughed, "You're not gonna leave though."
"...I can."
"But you won't." he sat fully beside her and bore his red eyes at her. He gently draped an arm over her shoulders and pulled her to his chest, with some resistance from her. "Cause in the end you love me too much. I'm always on your mind aren't I? Silly Hito-chan thinks that I'd let her go, too. No. We've discussed this before. You can not leave me. We're just destined to be together. That's just how it is."
"People in love are meant to be together..."
"And who's to say that we're any different?"
Hitomi's eyes widened, 'Did he just confess that he loves me?'
"I want you for a reason after all. I'm drawn to you. It sounds dumb, yet I can't think of a better way to put it."
"I can..." Hitomi said getting up and hanging her head over the sink. Her head was starting to spin like before.
"I know," Izaya led her to the toilet and rubbed her back. Hitomi puked again a slight whimper coming afterwards. Izaya shushed her, saying soft nothings into her ear. And what surprised her most was that it was strangely comforting.
'How does he manage to do that? It's like he wipes my mind of our fights and it all just settles.'
"Hito-chan... I love you."
