Chapter 10 : Is he hiding something?

I saw dad sitting beside me..
Dad : good morning sweetheart..
dad?? Are you Okay now?? What happened last night? How did your migraine got worse? I told you not to take stress again.. just why can't you listen to me?
Dad : Oh my my..take a deep breathe young lady.. I'm absolutely fine now..I just came to wake you up for breakfast..you must be really tired after last nights party...come on.. freshen up and be downstairs..
(Why isn't he paying attention to my questions? Is he hiding something?)
Dad?? Listen..
Dad : yes sweetie? What's wrong?
No.. Nothing.. I'll meet you downstairs..
( maybe this was not the right time to ask him about mom. Maybe later..)
Then before I could freshen up.. there was a sudden knock on the door..
yes who is it?
It's Sara, madam georgeina..
come in Sarah..
Sarah: Madam, these are your clothes.. after you freshen up you can wear these..
But who send it?.Ohh I get it, it must be Uncle Sam..That's so sweet of him..Thankyou Sarah just hang it somewhere here.
Sarah : sure madam.. by the way.. you are very lucky madam..Anthony sir barely talks to anyone.. but when he talks to you he's always smiling..you must be very important to him
Uhh.. well.. yeah.. he's a good person..
( huh? Important? My foot! that jerk...)
Sarah : sorry for taking to much of your time.. I'll take my Leave now..
Then she went outside.. I quickly went to take shower.. I just wanted to be with dad.Because of what happened last night, I needed to make sure that he's perfectly fine now..
Soon I dressed up..and went downstairs for breakfast.. while I was coming down the stairs.. I suddenly got goosebumps thinking about what happened yesterday on the stairs..
( why am I thinking about that all of a sudden?)
Uncle Sam : Oh geena, you are finally here.. we all were waiting for you..come on let's have some breakfast..It's been such a long time since I had breakfast with my lovely geena..
