𝐌𝐈𝐍𝐇𝐎 has hated 𝐋𝐎𝐋𝐀 ever since they first joined K.I.S.S. Nobody really knows why—it's not like they cross paths that often or have any bad history, so why is he so hostile towards her? Why does he scowl whenever he sees her? Why does he complain about her lifestyle choices to anyone that will listen? Why does he claim that he would rather kiss a toad than try to have a decent conversation with her? No one knows. Not even 𝐋𝐎𝐋𝐀 herself.
But hey, it's not like 𝐋𝐎𝐋𝐀 really cares. She's too busy living her best life as K.I.S.S.'s communal girlfriend to care about the opinion of one irrelevant, stuck-up rich kid. So what if he hates her? She's got a tonne of boys and girls lined up outside of her door, begging for her attention while he sulks in the corner somewhere. They're in different leagues and so whatever he has to say about how 𝐋𝐎𝐋𝐀 choses to live her life doesn't really matter to her. She brushes off his nasty comments the same way that he brushes off her flirty remarks, and then happily moves on with her life while he's left to seethe about her indifference on his own.
All of that changes, however, when the two are paired to work on a history project together. At first, 𝐌𝐈𝐍𝐇𝐎 goes out of his way to avoid 𝐋𝐎𝐋𝐀. Hell will freeze over before he agrees to spend any time alone with her, and she's not too enthusiastic about the idea of sticking around someone that hates her so much either. However, their independent study pact comes to a quick end when their teacher catches them working individually. The two of them are reprimanded, lectured on the importance of getting over their differences, and forced to actually spend time together while completing the project.
