"I was thinking... Jacob for a boy and Selena for a girl? Hermione beams at him.
"I think that's perfect!" The both smile and embrace each other.
"I love you, Hermione." Draco states.
"Just putting things straight, in first and second year I didn't like you, like at all. But love you too." They both laugh together.
"We've got potions now, anyway haven't we?" Hermione smirks at the idea of having to work with Malfoy.
"Right class!" Professor Snape says as the last few students shuffle in. "Whichever pair can create the best cauldron of amortentia wins fifty house points for their house, go!" Immediately people are rushing frantically around the dim classroom. Fifteen minutes in, Hermione and Draco are the ones furthest along and fumes are emanating from their cauldron.
"How come you've used so much conditioner on this morning? It's all I can smell!" Malfoy looks up from their potion, sharply.
"You're one to talk! All I can smell is your perfume!" They continue bickering over the cauldron of amortentia and the rest of the class slowly start to freak out as they realise what's happening.
"Right... I think it's clear that you two have created the best batch of amortentia..." Snape says, gesturing at Hermione and Malfoy and smirking.
