It was quite late as Sun had already set down and both the boys were exhausted.
Seokjin was getting frustrated more as the hours went by as to why they couldn't find the younger boy.
The house was not that big but still there were many secret doors which even they didn't know about.
Jungkook stopped and let go of Seokjin's hand so he could hold onto the wall.
"Oh my god..." Seokjin whispered as he found the secret door that led to the basement.
Jungkook continued to pant as he weakly looked back at Seokjin unaware of their new discovery.
"What happened hyung?" Jungkook breathed our as he tried to look what the older was staring at in shock.
Jungkook scanned the room as he noticed the table slightly moving.
His eyes widened as he went closer and saw a door knob.
He quickly turned around and looked at the extremely suprised Seokjin.
They immediately rushed to move the table aside and open the door.
As they managed to open it, they saw a dark room leading it's way through stairs.
Both Seokjin and Jungkook were shocked as they rushed down the stairs but to their surprise the basement was empty.
There was no sign of Taehyun or Jungkook's grandfather.
No one.
"I thought-" Jungkook said as he had a hope that Taehyun would be found here for sure.
Seokjin sighed heavily and bent down on his knees, his hands combing through his hair.
"This is so fucked up.." Seokjin mumbled.
Seokjin stood up again and walked closer to Jungkook.
"Jungkook there is no way Taehyun is here, we've searched everywhere, we need to leave as well..." Seokjin sighed as he placed his hand on Jungkook's shoulder.

Jungkook sighed he could not believe the fact that he could not save the younger, the one that was so dear to him.
Jungkook nodded his head slightly as he looked up at Seokjin.
Seokjin smiled trying to comfort Jungkook that they tried their best.
Seokjin held Jungkook's hand as they climbed up the stairs together.
They walked out of the house after bidding their goodbyes to Jungkook's grandmother who smiled sadly at them, helpless as well.
Both the boys sat in their car and that's when Jungkook bursted out in tears.
