Jin : You don't seem capable of looking after others, let alone yourself. I'm honestly worried about you, Taehyung.
Me : I appreciate the concern...but that's something I should be doing.
Jin : I didn't intend to scold you or look down on you. Please don't misunderstand, try to see my point of view.
Me : I just wish you would encourage and support me a little bit.
Jin : You should head back up. Everyone is waiting to see the results.
The Meeting Room~
I entered the office together with Jin, and we were met by the others waiting for us.
Jungkook was sitting in the middle, with Yoongi on his right and Liza to his left.
Standing leaning on one of the walls was Jimin, looking at us.
Me : Did you get a good show?
Jimin : I wish I got to see it for myself~
Yoongi : Jimin. Shut up.
Jimin : This guy always tells me to shut up. Isn't he too much?
Yoongi glanced over to me.
Me : Why are you dragging me into this? Don't pretend like we're close.
Yoongi : Ah...sorry.
Jimin : Hey, don't be so picky. That's something colleagues can do, you know?
Me : You're right, but...ah, never mind.
Not caring about their argument, I stared at Liza. She stared back, before rolling her eyes.
Liza : Hmpf...
Jungkook : Well, okay then. You're still alive?
I felt like ignoring him was the best option, but Jungkook's eyes lingered at me.
Jungkook : I'm sure he's thinking something....
Me : What are you muttering about?
Jungkook : It's a relief to see you're all right.
Me : I'm unsure if you're trying to start an argument or not.
But then, I could hear them whisper among themselves.
Jimin : What happened? I didn't think you'd lock a human in the basement the first day.
Liza : Why are you asking me? You should try over there instead.
I was unable to stay out of the absurd conversation.
Me : That's weird. I'm sure you should be able to answer that. Just putting that silver revover in my hand and leaving you'd think negligence wasn't a crime.
Jungkook : Liza, explain what happened.
Liza : What does it matter, as long as he didn't get bitten? Even if he did, he'd get better after a few days anyway. It seems like he took care of the vampire too. Test complete, no? *sigh*...have you finished? Whatever, I'm done here. I'm tired.
