I didn't feel the need to dress up for the occasion, so I went to the party wearing what I usually do.

But it seems none of the vampire guests had done as me, as they were all extremely dressed up.

Me : You...you didn't say it was this kind of party.

Jin : I'm sure I told you about that specifically.

Jimin : Hey Taehyung. I bet you'll really get everyone's attention like this!

Yoongi : You should have put in at least a little bit of effort.

Jungkook : I just hope there's no unnecessary trouble tonight. But it's too late to do anything about it now.

There's nothing I can do about it now. I should just focus on what I have to do.

But just a few moments later I was hiding up on a balcony.

Me : What's the big deal about what I'm wearing...they didn't have to be so mean about it.

On the other side of the terrace door, the party hall seemed so colorful and radiant.

Jungkook briefly looked over before getting swept up in another conversation with the guests.

Jin was nowhere to be seen during the entire time and Jimin ran around excitedly, enjoying every moment of the party.

Yoongi, as to be expected, kept himself within arm's reach from Jungkook..

Me : This kind of feels like looking at people in another world. I'll just spend a few more minutes here, and then I'll go back and...wait, what was that noise?

The beautiful music suddenly stopped, replaced by the screams of the partygoers!

With a bad feeling in my stomach, I ran inside.

The party hall had fallen into chaos, and there was blood splattered all over the place.

Me : Wh-what the...! Where are Jungkook and the others...!?

Jimin : Taehyung! I wondered where the hell you went!

Me : Jimin! And...I'm so relieved you're all safe!

Jungkook : You're looking at all this, and feel relief?

Jimin and the others ran up to me.

Their clothes had gotten completely messed up, from what I assume had been them getting control over the situation.

Yoongi : You should wait outside. We'll take care of the rest here.

Me : But wouldn't it be better if I...

Jin : Maybe if you had gotten involved from the beginning. But you joining now would just put you in unnecessary danger.

Jungkook : Do as Jin says, Taehyung.

Jimin : Tsk, I guess I won't convince you guys. I'll take him somewhere safe.

Vampire : Is this the one? The human who recently started working at the dungeon?

Me : *gasp*...!!!

The vampire who was running toward me had bright red eyes. Something doesn't seem right about them.

And the smell was thick. It wasn't a pleasant smell, but strong enough to make my head spin-

Me : Ugh...!

Jimin : Taehyung?!

The sudden pain in my neck along with the headache made me collapse on the ground.

What if the others found out about my condition while at the party?

But my regret soon faded away together with my consciousness.
