Wendy waited in the RV for the rest of the day and by night, she couldn't handle it anymore. She knew how powerful Pan was. She believed it would be easy for him to switch bodies with Henry. But while she waited, Pan had other things to do such as casting the Dark Curse.
That night, Wendy decided to leave the RV and go hunting for Pan herself. She roamed around the forest until she found her way to the main road in and out of Storybrooke. She followed it into Storybrooke until she got to the town. Then, from afar, she saw a group of people heading towards the cemetery. She saw Emma Swan, Rumplestiltskin, Prince Charming, Snow White, and, she couldn't believe her eyes; was that Pan walking with them? She was far from them but she was sure it was him; she could spot Peter from a mile away. Wendy started to run to Peter but realized that her still being here would be suspicious to the group, so she followed them from behind.
She followed them as they got to the cemetery and knew this would be her chance. She ran up without the group noticing and hid behind a tree in the path that the group was going. As soon as the group walked by, she grabbed Peter's arm and pulled him behind the tree.
"Peter! You switched bodies with Henry!" Wendy said, happily.
"Wendy? What are you still doing here? I thought you left with John and Michael." Replied the boy who Wendy believed to be Peter.
"Peter...don't, you remember? You stopped me from leaving while in Henry's body. Did switching bodies cause you to lose some of you latest memories?"
"No, Wendy, it's me, Henry."
Wendy gasped, "H-Henry?"
"Yes it's me." Replied Henry.
By now the group had realized that Henry was missing and started calling out his name. Wendy pondered for a moment. She knew that this was truly Henry, but she could not take her eyes away from Peter's dashing good looks, luring her in. She could not look away from his amazing eyebrows, naturally lifting as he spoke every second word. And she could definitely not stop looking at his lips. Those lips, practically asking her to touch them with her own. But alas the situation was the same as in the RV, but the opposite. In the RV it was truly Pan but in Henry's body, and now it was the other way around. Wendy mumbled something under her breath about always having bad luck, then took out a small knife that Peter had given her and held it up to Henry's neck.
"You mustn't tell anyone one about this." Wendy told him as the sounds of the group calling his name grew louder and more frantic.
"I-I won't." Henry said, nervously.
"Promise me."
"I promise"
Wendy reluctantly put the knife away and pushed Henry back onto the main path. She leant against the tree, panting from the nerves while she heard Henry stumble back onto the path and say "I'm right here, don't worry."
She heard some people in the group ask him where he was and he replied that he thought he saw something but that it turned out to be a large beetle. The group questioned him and offered to take a look, but he quickly, maybe too quickly, decline and , against their better judgement, the group did what he said. Finally, Wendy heard their footsteps become quieter and quieter until she could no longer hear them. She then looked up to see Henry - no, Henry's body - use crushed poppies to make her fall asleep again.
