Glenn looked at Anthony and angrily questioned his reason for making her lie to everyone. Anthony, in response, questioned Glenn if it was her intention for him to get a divorce just a day after his wedding. He simply couldn't help but convince Glenn to lie.
Back in the days, four months after Glenn had travelled for her studies, she'd realize Anthony had not been in contact with her. She began feeling Wyll and Elora weren't going to keep the end of the bargain and therefore confided in a friend who advised that she contacted Anthony himself. When she did, they both agreed to hide their 'being in contact' from Wyll and the rest of the family. On Anthony's numerous business expeditions, he'd mostly visit Glenn and their unborn child to an extent where both agreed to marry, privately of course. They both therefore went to the Rosewood's district court and held a private court marriage with Glenn's friend the only guest present.
This, a clear indication that Anthony already has been present in Glenn's life and knew all about the baby. Those pictures were pictures he had already seen. Whatever happened during Josephina's wedding period was a mere act. During the merrymaking, Anthony secretly met with Glenn and asked that she altered the truth for Josephina to blame Wyll and Elora. They both couldn't talk for long and Glenn, loving his husband, had no choice but to agree. She felt that Anthony had his reasons and at the right time, he would make them known to her. Anthony's acting really was good and convincing so much that he possibly fooled everyone. And yes, he got Josephina into believing that it was Wyll and Elora's fault, that her husband had nothing to do with all that.
Anthony loved Glenn because she was meek, understanding, loving, beautiful and kind. Above all, she trusted Anthony with her life. Ironically, Glenn had come back thinking that should Anthony see her, he'd put a halt to that wedding with Josephina. She believed Anthony loved her and their child so much. The fact that her husband had still gone ahead with the marriage baffled her. Looking at Anthony, Glenn softly questioned if she even mattered at all. She asked why he still decided to date Josephina when he was clearly aware of her pregnancy.
Anthony answered, saying his marriage with Josephina was purely business related and that Glenn was going to finally understand his reasons at the right time. But angrily, Glenn asked her husband if he was ever going to reveal their marriage for, she wasn't going to stay hidden forever. Anthony leaned forward and gently kissed her, telling her how much he loved her and how much she meant to him. Hearing these words, Glenn would calm down, but again ask about what Anthony's plans were since she virtually had nowhere to go to. Anthony told her to trust him as he had already bought a house for her and the baby. They were going to stay in town without Josephina's knowledge. Glenn agreed and left for the main house. Anthony stood there smiling and relieved. His quite but manipulative nature is what makes him even more dangerous. Of course, She knew Glenn so well and as well knew that manipulating her will be easy. On the other hand, Josephina was the exact opposite. She was daring, fearless, opinionated, and strong-willed. That's what attracted Anthony to her.
Josephina was also Anthony's insurance policy. Marrying Josephina meant that he had extra protection for his business dealings. His business partners were going to willingly support, respect and fear him because of his wife's law firm. Nonetheless, it was Anthony's will to keep both women by manipulating them. After standing there for a while thinking about how well he'd managed to fool everyone, Anthony left for his room. Eliazer, haven finished spying in on the conversation began thinking it was about time the Thornes started feeling the heat. He knew he had to act fast and fast enough.
In Anthony's room, he informed Josephina about his decision to send Glenn and his baby back to where they came from, Blusoville. Josephina, though looked excited, but wouldn't believe a word that his husband had said. Anthony didn't realize his own words had given him away. Once there was a time Anthony told her that the Thornes were never to let their children out of their sight. They were to keep them close and monitor their upbringing. This was enough proof for Josephina to thinking that her husband had lied and certainly believed there was more, but decided to dance to his tune and pretend to be happy about the news. As a symbol, she kissed and hugged him. Anthony now satisfied with Josephina's reaction and thinking he had managed to convince her.
