Chapter 6

She walked in and complimented her on how beautiful her apartment looked. Glenn offered her a seat and brought her a glass of water. She drunk the water and asked about the welfare of the baby. Josephina had no problem with Glenn. In fact, she believed that Anthony was in to manipulate them. Josephina had come to Glenn's house to find out the truth from her and convince her about how deadly Anthony is. She wanted to win her over to their side and make her realize that Anthony's family was dangerous and deadly. Josephina told her about the fact that she knew Anthony was also her husband. Glenn turned quiet for some time, apologized for deceiving her but Josephina would tell her that none of what happened was her fault. She only blamed Anthony for manipulating them. Josephina, after talking to Glenn for hours then introduced her to their plan, Alithia and Eliazer's story.

Soon enough, Josephina called Eliazer inside the house haven informed Glenn she came with someone. Glenn had realized how selfish Anthony is and agreed, for the sake of her child not growing and becoming like the father, to join and support Josephina. Eliazer then filled her in about the new company they were going to use in attaining the Thorne Business Empire, but Glenn would stand up to ask Josephina and Eliazer hold on with everything they were saying. Everything seemed a lot to take in. She stood still and after some time, turned and smiled at them. She was going to help them with whatever they had doing. Josephina gave Glenn some contact details she would use in getting through to her and Eliazer. Moment after Josephina and Eliazer had left, Glenn sat down and thought about how she had lied to her fellow woman in the name of love but then made up her mind not to put up again with the manipulation of his husband. She was going to pay him back for lying and cheating on her. She was somewhat filled with guilt and shame.

Back in the car, Eliazer asked that they stopped by so he could take something from his private investigator. Pulling over at a coffee shop, Eliazer got out of the car, headed to the shop, and then returned after ten minutes with a cup of coffee and a brown envelope. Immediately he got into the car, Josephina informed him that they were being followed. Eliazer's suddenly turned to worry but Josephina asked that he call his private investigator to follow the black Nissan. Josephina as well asked that he gets footages, with the car number inclusive. Also, the private investigator was to help bring to book the person responsible for that. Eliazer asked her when she noticed and Josephina, in response, smiled, and told him when they were on their way to Glenn's apartment. She only needed more evidence against the person masterminding that so she could file a law suit for stalking. Eliazer was bit surprised with how calm she's become about everything.

Moments after, Josephina asked him about the content of the envelope. Eliazer opened the envelope and for about five minutes, he became dead silent. Josephina asked that he get a grip of himself and tell her what it was. From the investigation conducted, Harletta was responsible for some numerous crimes, among which was her being responsible for the eviction of Alithia from her home.

Twenty years ago, Alithia married Wyll who already had three children. Wyll was a decent man earning just an average salary but Alithia, on the other hand, came from a super wealthy family. They fell in love and decided to get married with Alithia accepting Wyll's children as her own. She introduced Wyll to the business and appointed him as the CEO of the Allure Business Cooperation, now the Thorne Business Empire. Three years into the marriage, there was genuine happiness and contentment. Alithia adopted Dofia since she couldn't give birth. They promised to keep it a secret.

After sometime, Wyll began to accuse Alithia of infidelity and adultery. She couldn't understand. Someone was feeding her husband with lies. The house was constantly filled with quarrels and arguments. Elora and Mathéo who were old enough sided with Wyll and assumed that Alithia was mistreating their father by making him angry all the time. Anthony was not so old but clearly knew what was happening at home. Wyll started gathering shares for himself by convincing other board members to sell their shares to him. Gradually, Wyll became the major shareholder in the company. Alithia had given him her shares too as she had decided to focus on the new company they were setting up.
