After the Fall

Prologue

Hey guys, i've recently gotten into tokyo ghoul and watched both season 1 and 2 and I started liking the pairing of touka/kaneki so i'm gonna write about it. I don't own Tokyo ghoul or the picture. I googled it and found it so yeah.. Also this will not be going by the manga since I haven't read the manga. It will probably be really confusing for people who haven't read or seen tokyo ghoul so I would recommend watching the first season before reading since that is what i'm going to be basing my story on.

For those of you that have watched the anime, this story is going to be starting a few weeks after Kaneki started working at Anteiku. This is not going to follow the anime or the manga and there will be at least one original character involved. I hope you guys enjoy!

A loud shattering noise was heard in the quaint coffee shop named Anteiku one quiet morning just before it was time to open.

"DAMN KANEKI!"

"Sorry Touka-chan!" Kaneki yelped before hurrying to clean up the mess that he had made. Incidents like this have been happening frequently ever since Kaneki was taken in by Anteiku after his 'accident' where the poor boy was turned into a half-ghoul.

"just don't do it again, I've got enough to worry about without you being dead weight!" Touka screamed at him before going back to work.

"Don't be so hard on him Touka, the poor boy is still getting used to Anteiku and he has gotten much better." said Koma.

Touka just huffed. Why was it always someone else that had to stick up Kaneki? Why couldn't he just stand up for himself instead of being weak?

Everyone continued working in relative peace and were beginning to close for the day until a man in a purple suit with purple hair walked in.

"Ahh the sweet smell of coffee, but what is this? I smell something absolutely divine! The strange man begins to smell around the shop. He then walks up to Kaneki. "I haven't seen you here before, what is your name boy?"

"Umm, Kaneki" replied the eye-patched boy.

"If you aren't going to buy something then leave, you are interfering with our work and we are closing soon." said Touka.

"I think that I will have a coffee for myself and another for Kaneki here." said the purple-haired man.

"No thank you, sir I'm still working." said Kaneki.

"Nonsense, I insist, besides I'm the only customer in here" replied the man.

"Is it alright if I take a break early Touka? I will stay after to help clean up." said Kaneki to Touka.

"Alright, I guess it's fine, but you will make up every second when he leaves."

"EXCELLENT! My name is Tsukiyama by the way. May I just say that you smell absolutely splendid!" exclaimed Tsukiyama.

"Umm, thank you?" said Kaneki.

"Here are the drinks." said Touka as she handed them both to Tsukiyama.

Both of them sat at the bar and began drinking the coffee. "So, Kaneki when did you start working here?" asked Tsukiyama.

"3 weeks ago, sir" replied Kaneki.

"There is no need to be so formal, lighten up a little bit Kaneki." said Tsukiyama.

Kaneki decided to listen to his advice and then asked him a question. "what's with the purple suit?"

"ahh that is much better Kaneki, as for my attire, I pride myself in being the best dressed in the room wherever I go." answered Tsukiyama.

"more like most oddly dressed" Touka muttered under her breath.

If the purple-haired man heard her, he made no signs of acknowledging the insult. "So, Kaneki, what are some of your hobbies, besides being bossed around here?"

"The only thing I can really think of is reading." answered Kaneki.

Before Tsukiyama could ask another question, Yoshimura appeared.
