It's been a month since the fight and getting a new trainer. My new trainer was really nice and she's helped so much. Today Harrison and I have a day off and are going to see my mother.

We were listening to my playlist on blast driving to my childhood home in New Jersey.

He pulled into the driveway turning the car off, "Wait."

He got out of the car and went around to my door opening it for me. I chuckled saying, "Thank you, lover boy."

"Oh, my Arianna!" I heard my mother come outside to the car. She hugged so tight felt like the air of being sucked out.

"Hi, mom." I hugged her back as she let go looking next to me.

"You must be Harrison," she smiled widely as he shook her hand.

"Yes, Ms. De Luca, it's a pleasure meeting you. All Ari talks about is how good your food is."

"Oh, just call me Mary," she said with much excitement, "Let's go get you guys settled in."

She took my arm and walked me to the house whispering, "He's much finer in person."

I giggled looking back at him following us.

We now sat in the dining room at the table.

"When do you think you are going back to work?" my mom asked putting food on her plate.

"I have my exam next week to get cleared so hopefully in the next two weeks," I started eating.

"She's doing so good," Harrison added.

I blushed continuing, "How's work?"

"The kids are exhausting, this one kid in my class cries every morning when his mom leaves. We are in May, you think he would be used to it by now," she said in frustration.

"How long have you been a para?" Harrison asked her as her face lit up.

"This year will be my 19th year."

"Wow, that's crazy," he says passing me a cup for a drink.

"So, what's it like playing for the New York Yankees?" she asked him.

"It's honestly so crazy, one day I was in St. Louis then the next being traded for a team I grew up watching," he said happily.

"I should show you pictures of Ari and her father when they won the World Series. She was around 15-16 and they went to games together."

"Please do not do that," I said sipping on my soda.

She mouthed to him, "I will."

I shook my head, he chuckled as we all continued eating.

"Your mom is great. We are best friends now, "I looked over at him as we sat in his car getting ready to leave. I put on the GPS with the song Cherry by Lana Del Rey ringing through the speakers.

I took my hand turning his face to me attaching our lips. Soon his hand went to the side of my neck.

He pulled back saying, "We should leave so your mom doesn't come out asking why we haven't left."

I looked to the windows of the house seeing they were then looking back at him, "She's asleep, lights are off."

He smirked unbuckling his seat belt and putting his hands on my waist as I went on top of him. My hands are on the side of my head in his hair. Our lips crashed together both of us smiling and our forehead touching. Every kiss with him feels like it's just us in the world and no one else.
