FIDAA | (On Hold till Indefinite Time)

CHAPTER-6

Aahana was walking through the corridor when she suddenly was stopped due to a voice calling out her name. She turned backwards to witness the presence of Shikha and Rashi who stopped her by calling out her name. "Are Aahana baccha kaisi h tu. Kitne dinon baad dikhayi di."

"Namaste ma'am. Ha vo actually me mai pichle hafte hospital ki doosri branch me thi, wahan pr ek conference thi, isilye".

Shikha and Rashi were impressed by Aahana when she joined both her hands and greeted them with a 'Namaste' and was also soft and respectful while conversing with them.

"Are Aahana tu hume Ma'am kyo bol rhi h. Hum tere teacher thodi h. Beta tu hume Aunty bol. Ye sab formalities chhod".

"Oh Ok Aunty... "

Then suddenly an idea flashed into Rashi's mind and she said "Aahana beta kya tu abhi free h?"

"Ha Aunty aaj ki meri shift over ho gayi h aur ab mai free hu."

"Chalo ye to accha h. Beta If you don't mind kya tum aaj hamari family ke saath dinner krogi?"

"Arre wah Rashi ye to bahut accha idea h. Ha Aahana baccha, hm chahte h ki tu aaj dinner ke liye hamare saath chal. Please beta isi bahane hame to theek se Thank You bolna ka maika mil jaye ga aur tere saath kuch baatein karne ka bhi."

"Aunty please aap log itni baar mujhe Thank You mat bolein. Aur waise bhi Aunty aap log hospital se waapis jaoge aur agar mai rahungi to aap khamakha disturb hoge."

"Arre isme disturb jaisi kya baat h. Tu to bilkul hamari bacchi ki tarah h. Please naa mt keh." spoke Rashi.

"Ok Aunty mai aapke saath chalungi."

After this Shikha called Aadhrit and informed him about the dinner plan and he asked them to head to a restaurant with the driver.

As soon as Aadhrit stepped in the restaurant his eyes landed on the woman whom he was seeing after a week as he did not see her after the conversation. Whenever his family mentioned about her his heart started to beat faster and he realized that he already loves this woman to eternity and beyond.

Aadhrit saw how Aahana was smiling with his family and how happy they were with her.

He soon came forward and took a seat in front of Aahana who after watching him started feeling nervous. She could not understand why after their last conversation whenever somebody talked about him she felt uneasy.

Soon after they ordered their meal and Shikha started conversing with her. "Ha to Aahana baccha apne baare me kuch batao."

"Aunty mere baare kuch bhi itna khaas nhi h. Mai bahut hi simple ladki hu jise bas itna pata tha ki use apne dreams achieve krne h taaki me apni saari wishes ko fulfill kr sakun." 

"Arre tere baare me kuch khaas nhi h, mai nhi manti. Aaj tak jitni ladkiyan dekhi hai maine un me se tu sabse alag h . Accha wo chhodo, beta kya tu yhi Delhi se belong krti h aur kya apne Parents ke saath rhti h?"

"Nhi aunty actually mai Varanasi se hun. Meri Mother ek Government School Teacher h aur mere Father ek businessman h. Mera ek chhota bhai bhi h aur wo ek software engineer h aur yaha pe mai hostel me rhti hun."

Aahana was a girl who was never comfortable to share her personal details with anyone but with Shikha she felt a glint of closeness and shared everything about her.

Shikha was beyond impressed to see her simplicity. Girls nowadays always hype up the things and tell but here this sweet child was so innocently telling her about herself.

During all this Aahana could feel a pair of eyes staring at her intensely.
