Me and Gia talked for a long time, probably until 11:30 before Laila came in and talked with us. There was a little tension when she walked in but it soon died down later on. "So.. there's this boy that I like..." Gia said her voice almost to a whisper like she was too shy to tell us. I would be too, I was when I told Lyriic and her about Notti.
Me and Laila looked at each other with our jaws dropped and eyes wide. "Bitch who. It better not be that one nigga from your fourth period, he weird." Laila broke out into a rant trying to guess.
She's talking about a dude named Andre, he's not necessarily weird like a weird guy he's more of a hoe type of weird. He likes to fuck on females and play with their feelings then leave once he embarrassed them enough.
Gia's head immediately started shaking, "girl fuck no. He still is trying to get with me and shit but I'm not going for it. He must think I'm dumb." Her face turned into a disgusted look at the mention of him. That's how bad he is— nigga is the top five players in our school.
"So who is it? He goes to our school? Do we know him? Is he cute? Is he smart? He dresses nice?" I started asking questions now eager and wanting to know. I mean who wouldn't want to know who their close friend likes.. especially when they have a funny-looking taste in boys but hey I don't judge..
Gia took a breath in and breathed out, "Yes, yes, yes, sometimes and yes." I thought she was going to say the name and not answer my questions. That didn't help none; I was just asking questions just because. "Gia tell us, he can't be bad right?" Laila questioned, grabbing the girl's shoulders and swaying them slightly.
"Ok ok.. his name is David.." Laila's arms dropped meanwhile my face was blank trying to comprehend if I heard that right. Is it David as in David in the living room David? Or a different David?..
Laila started laughing probably thinking she was joking for whatever reason possible. "Like David Reyes?" I asked just to confirm if I was right or wrong. I'd be surprised if it's him because the difference between the two is crazy to me. He's loud, wild and I guess gangster. As for her, she's quieter, nicer, and a reader-type of girl. See that doesn't match yet it could. To be honest they'd be cute together.
Gia nodded her head and covered her face— getting shy or nervous about what was about to come out of our mouths, I would be too especially cause of Laila's big mouth ass. "I- well I wasn't expecting that. At all. Why do you like that thing?" Laila pointed towards my room door signaling that she was talking about David who was in the living room.
I popped Laila on the thigh for calling him a thing, "Don't call him a thing, he's a human.. but yeah why do you like that thing?" Gia and Laila both gave me a confused look before shaking their heads. Gia shrugged her shoulders at our question, "I don't know. It's just something about the way he treats me and talks to me. He's so sweet, I can't help but to like him." Her eyes softened as she spoke about him.
