After finney and robins fiasco with the cop they had finally made it to the inner city. Robin parked the truck in a hotel parking lot and got out to go get a room key for the two of them (making sure to get I king bed *eye wiggles*)
Once Robin was finished with the long process of ID checking and the paying process at the front desk he goes back to the truck to grab their bags and to wake finney.
Finney fell asleep only a few minutes after the cop had let them go. Robin had no clue why finney had been so tired but he didn't mind. Finney was a heavy sleeper so he got to listen to his music without any complaints.
Robin opens the door on Finneys side and shakes finney gently trying to wake finney without disturbing him. That didn't work. He shakes a little harder and whispers his name. Finneys eyes twitch open.
"Get up we're here" robin says. Finney doesn't question anything and grabs his bag from the floor of the car. Robin brings out his hand gesturing for finney to take it. Finney complies and takes his hand doing a little hop as he gets out.
They walk hand in hand to their hotel room to drop of their bags. Finney collapses on the bed with his arms out like a starfish. He lifts his head to robin.
"How much did you pay for this room? And why'd you get a king?" he questions with his eyebrow raised slightly sitting up fully now. Robin gives him a small grin.
"Only $40. And I thought it would be better if we were together" robin gives him a mischievous look and goes back to whatever he was doing.
When he was finished he and finney walked back out to the truck and make their way to their first stop. A French cafe for some lunch.
When they walk in the immediate smell of bread and coffee hit them slightly. But it just mostly smelled like a Starbucks.
They waiter seats them and gives them menus. Finneys eyes widen when he sees a section of the menu was sectioned off and decorated with rainbows and pride flags labeled "the pride specials (free meals to any gays)" he didn't know wether to feel loved or offended.
"Turn your menu over" he tells Robin, giggling to himself waiting for his reaction. He giggles slightly and looks up at finney. "This is appalling" they giggle at each other but stop when the waitress walks up
"Bonjour! I will be your server today what can I get you started with?" The waiter says happily with a heavy French accent. Robin looks over to finney and gives him a nice smile before ordering.
"Can we get the pride special?" He asks still smiling widely. The waitress gasps. She walks away in a rush to the other waitress
"We have our first pride costumers" she says trying to whisper, they could still hear her perfectly. "Ze fags over there" robin looks over at finney with shock as finney raises his eyebrows and his mouth hangs open with a smile.

For the rest of the day finney and robin had walked all over the city looking at buildings and eating foreign foods they had never eaten before.
They finally arrived at their last stop for the day. The cities national park.
They sat on a bench hand in hand in silence, a very comfortable silence. They enjoyed sitting together saying and doing nothing.
Finney has his head rested on robins shoulder while robin held tightly onto Finneys hand rated on his thighs.
Robin had thought about this part of their day all day. He couldn't get it off his mind. He was nervous and excited for this part but he also never wanted it to end.
"I have something for you" he says hesitantly, scared of Finneys reaction to said gift. Finney lifts his head off of robins shoulder and looks at him with loving eyes. "You do?" He asks. Robin shakes his head as he reaches into his jacket pocket.
He pulls out a box with the contents of a ring. A promise ring that would hold the two together until death do them part.
He holds the box how you would a box with a wedding ring. He doesn't get on his knee but instead sits still on the bench to refrain from it looking like a wedding proposal between two high schoolers.
Robin opens the box without saying anything. Finney gasps and looks at Robin with a wide smile. "It's um- well it- it's a promise ring so it's not- it's nothing to serious-" he gets cut off by finney jumping into his arms with a hug. He squeezes him tight making sure he doesn't lose him.
"I love you so much Robin" he says with his head nestled into robins neck. "I love you too finn" he says with a warm happy smile on his face.
They let go of each other, each wishing they didn't. Robin takes the ring out of the box and slides it onto Finneys finger gently.
They stay in silence just looking at each other. Finney leans in and plants a soft kiss of robins lips. Robin kisses back.

They've finally made it back to their hotel room. Finney once again flips onto the bed this time keeping his hands on his chest. Robin walks around to the other side of the bed. Finney eyes follow his every movement.
He climbs onto the bed slightly on top of Finney. He kisses him gently for a few minutes every few seconds letting go for some air but immediately going back for more.
After about 5 minutes of the process robin lays him head down on Finneys chest falling asleep soon after.
