Infatuated

CHAPTER THREE

Addy watched as her father flew in towards them in his iron man suit.

"Did you miss me?"

He sent a wink at Addy and smiled genuinely at her.

Tony directed his attention towards the current threat.

"Make your move reindeer games"

Loki raised his hands as a sign of surrender and his armor materialized away.

"Good move" Tony said.

Steve put Loki in special cuffs and led him to the Quinjet. Once everyone was loaded up they started their flight back to the shield base.

"Has he said anything yet?" Fury asked

"Not a word" Natasha responded

"Just get him up here, we're low on time"

As Fury and Nat spoke, Steve, Tony, and Addy spoke in the corner.

"I don't like it" Steve said

"What? Rock of Ages giving up so easily?"

Addy grinned at her fathers response.

"I don't remember it ever being that easy"

"Nothing ever is" Addy shrugged.

Suddenly, thunder and lightning lit up the sky, causing the Quinjet to shake.

"Where is this coming from?" Nat asked.

"I have no idea, but clearly someone in the sky is angry" Addy said.

Loki snorted at her response. Suddenly something hit the Quinjet and a blinding light shown through the windows. Two men forced open the Quinjet doors and grabbed Loki and flew out of the jet immediately after.

"Now there's those guys" Tony said frustrated.

"More Asgardians?" Nat asked

"What do they want with Loki?" Addy asked

"All I know is that we need to make sure we get him back so we can get the tesseract" Steve said firmly.

Steve turned his attention to Nat who was watching Tony and Addy jump out of the jet. An alarmed Steve rushed to get a parachute before Natasha's words stopped him.

"I'd sit this one out Cap"

"I don't see how I could"

"These guys come from legends, they're basically gods"

"There's only one god Ma'am, and I'm pretty sure he doesn't dress like them"

Steve jumped out of the jet in a hurry to get to Tony and Addy.

While Tony and Addy were searching for Loki, and Steve and Nat were talking; Loki, Thor, and Kai were having a heated conversation.

Thor threw Loki to the floor.

"Where is the Tesseract?" Kai's voice sounded throughout the forest.

"I missed you to" Loki laughed.

"Do we look to be in a gaming mood?" Thor exclaimed angrily.

"You should thank me, with the Bifrost gone how much dark energy did the Allfather have to muster to conjure you here? Your precious Earth"

"We thought you were dead" Thor had a heartbreaking look on his face.

"Did you mourn?"

"Of course we did, brother" Kai said quietly.

Loki smiled at his favorite older brother, but then his gaze hardened as it moved to Thor.

"Did father not tell you my true parentage?"

"We were raised together, we played together, we fought together. Do you remember none of that?" Thor asked.

"I remember being a shadow along with Malachai. Living in the shade of your greatness. I remember you tossing me into an abyss. I was and should be king!" Lokis' unusually blue eyes lit up brightly as he said the last sentence.

"Earth is under my protection, and you shall not cause harm to it" Thor boomed.

"you're doing a marvelous job with that. The humans slaughter each other in droves, while you idly threat. I mean to rule them. And why should I not?" Loki sneered.

"Do you think yourself above humans?" Kai asked.

"Yes" Loki said, not looking Kai in the eye.

"Then you miss the true beauty of ruling brother" Kai said.

"Who gave you right to be king?" Thor growled.

"I did" Loki yelled.

"Give up the tesseract, brother" Kai spoke softly, but firmly.

"I don't have it"

"You listen well brother. I-" Thor said before getting knocked off the mountain by Tony.

While Tony and Thor were fighting, Addy approached Loki and Kai.

"If you don't mind, I need to take him back to our ship" Addy said, amused.

"I do mind, darling" he smirked at her.

She grinned back at him.

Both equally entranced with each other. Kai was entranced by her confidence, and her by his aura. They both struggled not to stare.

"Well that's to bad" Addy used her powers to make vines grow out of the ground and wrap around Loki. She pulled him closer to her, and away from Kai.

Kai looked surprised at her powers.

Suddenly Steve, Thor, and Tony climbed up to them.

"Let's go" Cap demanded.
