Pure Innocence.

Chapter one.

Aayda

I like to think of myself as a sweet, innocent, and respectful girl. Except I'm not. Not after that day.

I'm thinking to myself and zoning out as usual in my worthless Social Development class. This happens everyday, I come into this class, sit down, talk to Lilla a bit and then once the teacher starts talking I seem to just zone out.

The bell rings and takes me out of my little world I have built in my head. Or I should probably say space, because the only thing in there is the stars and all the stars if you look at them long enough take me to a good memory of myself, when I wasn't like this.

Lilla and I are walking out of class to go find Max. Max has been me and Lilla's best friend for way too long. Me and Lilla met when we where in sixth grade and have been attached to the hip ever since. Max came along in eighth when Lilla had a crush on him. I know Max and Lilla have both liked each other since they met but Lilla is terrified to date him and told herself in eighth grade that she wouldn't date him until he was mature enough for a relationship and well let's just say as a Junior in high-school he still isn't mature enough for her. But I don't blame her she knows she is worth it and while we both know without a doubt her would treat her like the goddess she is, she's scared.

Max is at his locker putting the books up that he won't need for homework and getting the ones that he will need because all of our last class of the day is p.e. and it's on the other side of the school. It's also leg day so we know that we won't be able to walk back to our lockers let alone to our cars. We all work out because it takes the stress away for a while, let's just say that us three are the only ones that come out of that gym not being able to walk, some dont care and others just don't have the motivation and I get it I do, but I also know what it's like doing what else they are doing to take the stress away and I can't let myself do that... not again.

4 hours later.

I can't feel my legs. I'm honestly surprised I am walking to my car right now. After everyone felt the school me, Lilla, and Max all stayed another two and a half hours working out so the least we can say is that we won't be able to walk for two days. Lilla and I drive together almost everyday because it's just easier than having to worry about her being in a crash every morning on the way to school and on the way back, plus I stay at her house half the time anyways so it just makes sense to take one car. But Max always drives because he has morning practice and me and Lilla aren't morning people at the least.

After putting all my school and gym stuff in the back seat me and Lilla wave Max goodbye before leaving, it's not like we are going to see him in thirty minutes. Me and Lilla go to her house and both take a quick shower and while we wait for each other we start cooking and then trade out so the other can shower, after about twenty minutes both of us put the food in containers we head to Max's to study. Sometimes we eat what Corey makes but she already has four other kids to worry about so me and Lilla make food for me, Max, and her so that we don't bother her.

After we get to Max's we quickly get to work. I know these tests are going to be the death of us.

We take an eating break at about six thirty, two hours into our study sesh and talk about our days and what is going on in our lives but we all know everything already and there is rarely anything new so we just wind up talking about our family lives. All of us haven't had it easy by any means but we helped each other survive, even when we didn't want to.

After eating we all went back to studying and quizzing each other on the topics we had to memorize. After about two more hours me and Lilla head home. On the car ride home me and Lilla are blasting music with the windows down enjoying the cool night air, and I finally realize that maybe my life wasn't over a year and a half ago, it's just starting.
