How Fou and Lin first met

Lin Ebreak was beautiful. Beautiful, but unnoticed. Wherever she went, everyone saw her, and admired her for a while, then turned away and got on with their day. Lin Ebreak was beautiful, yes. But she was also lonely. At least until Fou.

Fou Rthwall was invisible. No one saw them and no one bothered them. Which, they told themself, they didn't mind. As a born awkward introvert, interacting with others was not their strong suit. They always admired Lin Ebreak from afar, but never dared to approach her. Yes, Fou Rthwall was rather lonely for a time. At least until Lin.

~Lin sighed, doing her job as per usual~

It was a bright morning (not that the two would know) and they were both up early, doing their job and their purpose in this world. It was not unusual for them to pull all-nighters, seeing as they seemed to always be needed. (yes I'm talking to you guys that stay up until like 2 in the morning on school days - GO TO SLEEP PLEASE). When suddenly, the two seemingly always apart elements came together.

It was Lin who saw Fou first, seeing for the first time her beauty. Fou felt a stare on their back and slowly turned around. Lin approached them. Fou stepped back. Lin kept approaching them. Fou kept stepping back. They continued preforming this strange dance until Fou felt their back hit a wall and stumbled away from it, giving Lin enough time to catch up.

~ "God you are fast, how are you that fast?" Panted Lin. ~

Fou panicked. No one had ever spoken to her before, other than close friends.

"Um, ah, er, GOTTA GO BYE!"

Fou suddenly disappeared as fast as she had appeared, leaving Lin alone in the midst of words.

~ "Well that was odd."~

Lin shrugged and carried on doing her job, keeping an eye out for that mysterious person to appear again.

Fou was crouched down in the comments, unable to hide the bright flush of red on her face.
