Meriwether looked very upset and depressed and kept on saying he would shoot himself. I thought he would kid an' let the subject go, but as it turned out, he was definitely serious.

When I got him to FINALLY drop the subject, I told him that maybe he should find (in this case, definitely) someone to talk about his depression, anxiety and etc. He told me there was no such thing as a therapist (because he figured out what I was talking about), but ah, maybe there isn't a therapist, but maybe someone reliable to talk to who can figure out those problems. Even though "modern' therapy doesn't exist, there's still a chance to find someone to whom Meriwether could talk to.
