Friday.
It was tough finding anyone who knew anything about stress and what not--
Wait a minute! What an idiot I am! "When angry, count to ten before you speak. When very angry, count to one hundred."
Thomas Jefferson of course! After that strange epiphany, I told Meriwether what my plan was and since he is great friends with Thom, I suggested we go to Monticello, in Virginia. He accepted the plan, we packed our stuff and off to Monticello we went going via carriage.
When I learned about the animals that were taken during the expedition, Meriwether gave me some extra beaver fur that he had, and I with my leftover lavender and that other thing I had ( no clue what it was but it was squishy), made a beaver fur lavender scented (lavender inside the ball), hand made, all sown up stress ball for him. When I gave it to him, (we were still being driven to our destination, Monticello), he said: Thank you, dear child. What is it?" in between questioning what it was, he squeezed it and smelled it. That answered his question when he said: "Oh,I see! Thank ye. It shall be very useful."
Thank goodness, I thought. One anxiety emotion erased from Meriwether, one of the Captains of the 'Corps of Discovery'!
Now all he needs is talk therapy!
