The next morning, I could hear barking.
It was very loud though I guessed who the barking belonged to: Lewis' dog, Seaman.
Seaman did a lot of hunting with the Corps of Discovery. Especially hunting beaver, weasels and maybe some birds.
Speaking of huntin', Seaman came rushing down, joyfully, hunter's style and kept barking until he happily leapt onto Meriwether Lewis (which made him fall over..wasn't injured. Good). We all laughed (Clark, Lewis and I) until we couldn't hold it: it was too funny a situation. Dogs these days..some can be very classy sometimes.
