CHAPTER-11

The breakfast went...well awkward will be the word I will put here.

Sirius and Lucifer were shooting death glares to each other while serving themselves pancakes whereas Nacrissa was staring at Lucius lovingly( making me gag) while he was bragging to Gwen about how he once duelled in his 1st year and he was successful in disarming his 'mudblood' opponent, although I, Who was sitting besides Lucius, stifled a laugh as I knew how Lucius got his arm and leg broken because Dara Williams ( a 1st year Hufflepuff) disarmed him and he made a great fuss about it and accidentally slipped over the stairs,resulting in his broken arms and legs.

I smiled faintly, reliving the memory while eating my caramel toast. Bellatrix was sitting in-front of me and well, it was almost as she was gonna Avada kedavra me from piercing her dark black eyes into my soul, for me it honestly was hilarious because she couldn't do anything as Mrs Greengrass and Mr Greengrass were also present. Sucks for her

Andromeda was the only thing keeping me sane on this breakfast table, As she talked about how she was getting so many letters from the 4th year Hufflepuff boy during summers, who's name was Ted Tonks to be precise, she confessed to me that she had developed true feelings for him. I felt happy seeing her find someone, and anyways, she was the only one in my family who could understand me better than anyone else.

The breakfast went really chaotic.

To my relief, Keres had some 'important meeting' to attend so she had to leave the manor early morning . As we all finished our breakfast, Mr Greengrass told us to leave our trunks in the Manor because they will be magically apparated to the train station by the elves, much to Lucius's dismay of impressing Gwen with his 'imaginary' muscles.

I was in-fact, NOT gonna miss the Greengrass manor at all, from it's gloomy atmosphere to the insolent and egoistic people I hated it all. By the time we reached the Platform, there was a massive crowd already, although we were quite early.

There were many muggle parents bidding goodbye happily to their excited and nervous children, whereas the prejudiced pureblooded parents didn't even care to say a farewell to their child and just left. How ridiculous and heartless.

I quickly parted my ways from the gloomy group of people I had come here with while I couldn't see any sign of Sirius. Weird.

Suddenly I heard a whistle from behind, as I looked behind to see who it was, I was welcomed with the joyful and mischievous  faces of James, Remus, Peter! and a bored and envious one of Marlene, I without realising ignored her and hugged all of my friends while laughing with joy. Wait where's Sirius?

"James, you traitor you said you were gone to take candies!" A whiny voice came from behind, which I exactly knew who it belonged to. Sirius. Grinning, I turned around and saw him smiling at me after seeing me. I almost didn't realise we didn't quite talk until now.

"Isa!"

"Sirius!" As we were about to hug, someone came in between us and stopped us, oh bloody hell not again. It was Marlene. I had forgotten her existence for a few minutes, but now she was furiously glaring at me, almost as if she was telling me to back off.

"Oh merlin Siri, you literally were with her this morning, do you know how much I was missing you? now c'mon, I've got a loads to tell you quick hurry up" Marlene's high-pitched voice said, with a fake-sweet accent. I scoffed at her angrily as I wasn't able to talk to him for this whole summer. As I was gonna retort back, she forcefully pulled Sirius with her, without giving me a chance to say anything while Sirius looked at all of us behind, awkwardly following her while mouthing us a "help me".

Oh Godric, Marlene is getting on my nerves now, Sirius isn't her property! She cannot just boss him around. I felt a gentle pull on my shoulders as I looked behind to see Remus looking at me apologetically.

"I'm sorry Belle, Marlene is quite the show when it comes to Sirius, She's been talking about him all summer" Remus sighed while saying, while I felt a pang of jealousy in myself. James just rolled his eyes dramatically.

"Oh tell me about it, She wouldn't even allow us to sneak you out Belle let alone send you a letter, merlin be careful with her Belle, she looks murderous when she sees you, She surely fancies Sirius though it's really weird" James ranted , a hint of annoyance in his voice. I again felt a weird sensation in my stomach. James continued,

"Don't worry about them belle, we might as well leave them alone for now and go find Lily-bud! oh speaking of which, have you got any letters from her over the summers Belle? I'm quite worried because she didn't answer any of mine" James whined while pouting, I looked at him incredulously, oh Salazar he was so in love with Lily.

Lily had of course sent me letter complaining about how James has been sending her weird wizarding chocolates and prank products, It was the only thing she talked about in our letters not to mention. Honestly if they ever got together and married, they will have to make me the maid of honour to their wedding.

I chuckled at the thought of them together, as James pulled me and Remus with him while Peter followed us behind timidly.

As we were walking I caught the eyes of Lucifer staring at me, smirking knowingly because god knows why, he suddenly blended in the crowd and we broke our eye-contact.

Merlin knows what is he planning now.
