2 days.

2 days are left for Christmas.

2 days are left for me to leave for that hellhole of a manor.

How would I adjust in there? I'm sure Keres murders innocent muggles there every day. I would not be able to stand seeing Lucifer's face every morning and night. How will I survive honestly?

The snowflakes fell on my cheek as I walked around the grounds of Hogwarts. It was indeed a spine-freezing day, everything was covered with pearl white snow. It was mostly deserted, nobody was roaming around the grounds because of the chilly gusts of wind coming now and then. But that's just how I like it.

No one around to disturb my peace. Just content in my company. That's my style.

But of course, my peace isn't tolerable to anyone. An arm had flung around my shoulders as another arm stopped me to stroll further. I crossed my arms as I exactly knew who these 'mysterious' people were.

The infamous duo of Sirius Black and James Potter.

And of course they had an innocent grin playing on their lips, a mischievous glint in their eyes. I let out a slight smirk seeing them.

"Oh! Isa! Didn't see you there." Sirius said in pretence shock as he gasped like an old lady. I snorted as I eyed him sarcastically.

"What'd you expect Pads? A hippogriff in a Gryffindor robe?" I said sarcastically, earning a smack on the shoulder from Sirius while James laughed. James exchanged a look with Sirius and suddenly became all lovey-dovey. He hugged me forcefully.

"Oh Wings! Do you know how much we love you?" James cooed as I stopped struggling in his arms and scoffed. He pulled out from the hug as I crossed my arms once again.

"Aight. Who d'you want to prank this time?" I said, looking at both of them with an amused expression. They both grinned as they pretended to be in a deep thought.

"Hmmm"

"I don't know—"

"Maybe—"

"Lockhart?"

A wide smirk creeped upon my face as I looked at both of them.  I shrugged.

"Think of it as done." Was all I said before leaving both of them squealing in delight and mischief. I smirked as I entered the Forbidden forest, a forest very dear to me. I smiled as I saw unique and odd creatures messing around as I delved deeper into the woods. I heard a huge cry of agony as I flinched and pulled out my wand in pre-caution.

It sounded like a man's scream. But who could it be? I silently and gradually headed to the place where the scream had previously came from. It was too dark to recognize anything so I incantated the light charm spell. And that was when I saw the scene in front of me.

Bane.

He was lying there lifelessly, blood pouring out of his chest.

My eyes widened as I quickly ran over him and tried to wake him up to his senses. Unluckily, he was looking like he was dead. No this can't happen. I frantically screamed his name but it was to no avail. But then something struck through my mind.

I took a deep breath, preparing myself for what I was gonna commit. A spell. A spell that I had been trying to create for an year. But I wasn't successful. It was meant to be a counter-spell for the deadly killing curse. But I didn't even know what had killed Bane. What if it backfires? I just hope nothing happens like that. I cannot lose a friend.

"Anástasi apó tous nekroús." I shakily uttered as a lavender flame came from the tip of my wand and flew straight through Bane's chest. I felt so scared. So panic-stricken. I wasn't able to move at all.
