I raised my eyebrows at her, she's probably planning something vicious and malicious. Her grin was widening every minute.
"Today we'll be facing the Unforgivable curses." She uttered as many students gasped and shuddered at the thought of the illegal curses. I saw Urquhart exchange confused glances with his friend as I sighed. I knew she was gonna teach us something illegal.
"But Professor that's illegal!"
Many murmurs and hums of agreement were heard from the Gryffindors as Vixens shot them a deathly glare.
"I don't think you're the one to teach me about curses now Mister Abbott." Vixens spat venomously at the Hufflepuff 4th year named Crispin Abbott cowered back. I sighed inaudibly.
"So can anyone tell me about the curses? Mister Davies?" She asked Gary Davies, a stuck-up Gryffindor. He cleared his throat, almost taken aback.
"My father told me about one, The Cruciatus curse." Davies said hesitantly, as I winced slightly as the memories came flooding back in my mind. Un-luckily, Vixens had noticed me and was sauntering towards me.
"Anything paining you Miss Malfoy?" Vixens voice drawled, it was almost like she was trying to agitate me. I simply shook my head, not giving her any satisfaction as she muttered a 'very well' and she strides over the center of the classroom.
"Cruciatus curse, it's one of the most powerful and useful curses one could think of, does anyone here knows how to perform it?" Vixens said sadistically. Useful? I looked at her in disbelief. Useful my foot. She's so vile. I shuddered slightly as the memories were slowly taking the best of me.
Urquhart looked at me concerningly as he put his hand on my shoulder. I sighed as the classroom went silent. Vixens was just looking at her nails, bored.
"Very well, has anyone ever experienced it?" She asked viciously, her eyes stopping on me as my eyes widened slightly. I remained in my calm posture as I avoided Vixens gaze.
"Can anyone tell me about the other curses?" Vixens said, finally giving up on getting out an answer from me. I let out an exasperated sigh as I leaned on Urquhart's shoulder. He looked at me worriedly.
"Are you okay Blondie?" He whispered, as I gave him a weak smile.
"I'm fine."
"If you say so." He said under his breath, raised his hand as Vixens gestured him to answer.
"The Imperius curse."
"Again, a marvellous curse, it helps the person to control another person and make them do anything." Vixens said, her eyes gleaming with malice. I looked at her in horror. Is she crazy? Why in the world did Dumbledore hire her?
"We would be performing this curse later on in class."
Many gasped as I looked at her like she's crazy. Does she want to end up in Azkaban? I hope she does. I got out of my thoughts as I heard someone speak,
"Miss Malfoy, you can tell us about the last but not the least curse." Vixens voice drawled as I shuddered.
"The Killing curse." I said as if the words were paining me to say. I saw Vixens eye me with intrigue as she chuckled. She chuckled?
"The Killing curse. What not to say about it? I want you all to see how it is performed, then maybe, you'll get to see how power feels like." She said as she pulled out her wand.
Don't. Don't. Please don't. I prayed in my mind.
"Avada Kedavara."
And just like that, an innocent squirrel who was sitting near the window of the classroom, was killed. It fell down, lifeless. I closed my eyes as I couldn't bear to see the atrocious scenario in front of me.
