The next day, Melanie's shoulder ache, her eyes drifted from right to left, Mia soundlessly slept like having the best dream of her life, while Varian snored like he always did. Her eyes then drifted to the rear view mirror, on the reflection was Milura struggling to do her make up. Melanie gently push Varian and Mia aside making more space to stretch her arms. After stretching, Melanie reached for some gum, half surprise to see the grocery bag filled to the top. "You got more stuff? When?" Melanie questioned. Milura turned around and nodded. At that moment, Varian stirred a little, his eyes slowly opened, he looked up, only to be petrified at the sight he was seeing. "OH MY LORD THERE'S A CLOWN IN THE CAR!" Varian screamed and hid behind Melanie, his screams woke the Mia, who was still confused why there was screaming. "Calm down Varian, it's just me" Milura assured him. She wiped her face and put away her makeup bag. Varian calmed down after a while. "Milura, you shouldn't have scared me like that, you know I hate clowns" Varian said. "What ever do you mean, of course I have no intentions of scaring you either way" Milura answered in a confused tone. "Oh, I guess.." Varian said. The three children looked down, then looked at each other. They all know what each other is thinking. Why was Milura suddenly so bad at the thing she is best at? Milura sighed. "I know what you guys are thinking" Milura said "But get this, I am just trying out something new" She looked at the children. They all thought again, well, she was right. Maybe she just wants to do something new. "I suppose so" Mia said after a while of silence. Mia then reached out to the bag and pulled out a small carton of milk along with some crackers. After devouring like a hungry beast, Mia slumped on to her chair, her face read "I am very bored, think of something to do" Melanie sighed. It was the fifth day, and now they are bored. Milura turned around and suggested them to look out of the window and think. "Time pass in a blink when I do it" Milura said. Hours passed, soon, it was lunch time, they search through the bag and each grabbed some food and gobbled. "Look, a house" Varian exclaimed. All eyes were drawn out of the window, far away, a small yet easily spotted house poked out of the hills. "It seems as we have arrived earlier that expected" Milura said. "Hey Mia, will there be proper bathrooms?" Varian asked. "Of course, it's small but not that old, it was just built last year" Mia answered. "Good, since I really need to let it go soon, and finally not in bushes and bottles" Varian said excitedly. "If you can't hold it, bottles are always waiting" Melanie said teasingly. Varian gasped as all eyes turn to him. "What is it that I did again?" Melanie asked in a tone, expressing the thought of knowing that she did something "extraordinary" to Varian. "Who knew our Scarlet princess could tease" teased Varian, taking the chance, he started poking Melanie, who was giving him several death stares and cracking her knuckles as she calmed herself down. After an hour of Mia and Varian napping , they arrived at the medium sized lodge. Milura parked the car, Varian, who was a the verge of peeing is pants off, rushed to the house, only to find the door locked. He wiggled himself, trying to compose his pee for the one last time while Mia rushed in and unlock the door. The moment the door was unlocked Varian burst in, 5 minutes later he went out, pouting: "I didn't make it in time" He said. Varian's day just get worse when at 6, the girls had, well for Mia, she wore a very pretty skirt, which was her favorite one, while Melanie wore some extra uniform shirt and her gym shorts, while for Varian, he wasn't so lucky, he had to borrow Mia a skirt since Melanie refuse to lend him the shorts, as which he guessed was payback for teasing her on the car earlier. The whole night he was given smirks, grins and sometimes comments one how girly he looked by Melanie, to the point while having dinner, his face twitches, then he ran into his guest room, silent crying could be heard from the room. Mia gasped. "Why do you seem like you are surprised at something?" Melanie questioned. "Oh, because my dad said that boys don't cry, they are very strong. Yet now Varian is crying, strange" Mia innocently explained. Melanie was about to say something, when Milura came. "Mia, its simple, boys are humans, and humans have feelings, so boys have feelings. Its like: 1/2=2/4 and 2/4=4/8; so in conclusion 1/2=4/8" Milura explained. "Oh I see, so my dad was wrong" Mia said, her face showed a little frown of disappointment. "But there is one part that isn't wrong, is that boys are strong" Milura added. Mia's face lit up, well, at least one part that her father said was right. "And also Mia, you should go and console Varian, since you are best at it" Milura suggested. Feeling important, she rushed in, the first thing that hit her eyes was the dark blue skirt she lent Varian was on the ground, her mother's shirt was seen hanging at the end of the bed, while Varian, wrapped in blankets, only showing his head. (Note: The bed was sort of close to the door). "Varian, you should wear some clothes on and head out to eat" Mia said. "I will NOT wear those, I'd rather be naked that being wearing skirts, at least I don't look girly" Varian said. Hopeless, Mia ran out and called Milura for help.  Milura, walking in and a few moments, she walked out with defeat. Then, she brought some food into the room and told Varian to eat up. Varian gave her a slight nod. Hours later, still, no food has been eaten, and the room started to smell fishy(since they are having fish), which Mia had to carry the tray out and onto the table. At this point, the three girls sat down on the couch, thinking of ways to get Varian to have dinner. "Ugh, I hate this, Melanie, why don't you just apologize to him?" Mia asked. Melanie stayed quiet, she, as someone who rarely apologize, she simply could NOT throw away her pride to say "Sorry" towards the one idiot called "Varian". Melanie left and then entered, screams were heard from the room, next thing they knew, Melanie was carrying a blanket cinnamon roll with scared Varian as the filling. "Eat or I'm not letting you down" Melanie threatened. Varian, with a crippling height anxiety, weaved like crazy. "Fine, I'll eat just let me down, please" Varian begged. Melanie placed him on a chair, he quickly gobbled up the food and well, got carried back into bed. "Its 10, bed time" Milura said. Mia quickly flopped in her bed while Melanie drag herself on the bed. Soon, snores could be heard in the room that Mia and Melanie shared. Then after a while of thinking, Melanie dosed of.
