Five Nights In Anime: Reborn - Crimson Mystery

Pre-Night 1

After Emerald and Adonis got their jobs as security guards for Frederika's Anime Convention, the boys could not wait to start.

A few hours go by and it is around 11:30 at night. Emerald just parked his car in the same exact spot near the entrance. The weather was the same as earlier, as it still rained outside. Not only was it raining, it was straight-up downpouring. With no hesitation, Emerald turns the car off and takes the key out of the vehicle. He puts the key in one of the many pockets in his jacket and reaches into the backseat to find an umbrella on the car floor.

"Do you really think that this job is for us, Emerald?" Adonis would ask while taking a last look at his phone before he puts it away. 

"Well, whether you like it or not, it's a job. There's a very small chance for someone to like their job. I mean, there are people who work at a minimum wage job throughout their whole lives." Emerald said, grabbing the umbrella and repositioning himself back in the driver's seat.

"Hm, and people do that?" Adonis replied.

Emerald would roll his eyes and nod. "Yes, people do indeed do that. No time for chatting, let's get rolling." Emerald said as he unlocks the car doors. "Oh! Yeah, that's right." 

Emerald quickly got out of the car as did Adonis. Emerald quickly takes out the umbrella to have it over his head so he doesn't get wet. Adonis rushes on over to go under it as well. Emerald opens the trunk up to find a green sports bag that he's had for a couple of years. Emerald closes the trunk and puts the strap around his head, before looking at the convention in front of him.

"Let's get to it," Emerald said, before walking towards the entrance. He puts his hand on the door handle before he pulls it, but the door didn't budge. It was locked.

"Huh... I thought Emily wouldn't have these doors locked before we got here." Emerald said, confused before Emily herself would come towards the doors to unlock them.

Emily opened the doors for both of the boys before she let out a smile. "Thank goodness you guys came early!" She said. She looked ready enough to leave the place.

"You're leaving early I assume?" Adonis asked, raising an eyebrow.

"Yep! Something happened at my house just now. Seems like the babysitter couldn't be trusted enough to watch my daughter." Emily would move out of the way. "Hurry in! I need to go. I trust you guys enough already!"

Without hesitation, Emerald and Adonis would walk inside the convention as Emily quickly walked out.

"Thank you, boys! Sorry that I have to leave early. I'll try to catch you guys up tomorrow night! Have a good night!" Emily said before she closed the door. She takes out the manager keys she has been entrusted with and used them to lock both doors before rushing towards her car.

Emerald was about to say something before it was clear as day that she was really in a rush. A sigh came out of Emerald and he looked at Adonis.

"I see we're off to a good start here," Emerald said, before walking inside the convention. The dining area was perfectly clean. No trash on the floor, no leftovers on the table, nothing. Everything was perfect around the area. The party hats were placed on the center of the tables along with balloons in the scenery. It was pretty much clean and Emerald smiled a little.

"Well, that saves us some time. Seems like the employees did their job." Adonis said, with Emerald looking around the big convention. The show stage, Pirate's Cove, the Bathrooms, the hallway, and even the kitchen door. Emerald enjoyed every detail of the place.

"You know Adonis, something to think about... This place looks like a pizzeria yet it is called a convention... There are pieces of pizza on the walls near the bathroom and it kind of... Smells like pizza. Pizza pizza pizza." Emerald rolled his eyes and took a look at the show stage to see the three members of Frederika's Band: The leader being Frederika, as well as her two companions Bonnie and Chica. Emerald would get up on the stage to be on the same level as the three animatronics.

"Bro, what are you doing up there?!" Adonis yelled, afraid that Emerald is already going to cost their jobs, but Emerald put his own hand behind him and made a stop gesture towards Adonis.

"Hush my friend. I'm just examining something really quick. We won't get in trouble. Besides, we literally have zero clue on what to do besides watching this place. We don't even know the building dude!" He said, before looking at the wires around the animatronics. He walked around Chica before walking behind Frederika and then Bonnie, as he went around Bonnie and stopped in front of her, further examining the animatronic.

Adonis would shake his head a little before looking behind him to see the hallway (right hallway) they went through a few hours ago. He looked back at Emerald and said "You know, the office is probably where we're supposed to be when our shift begins."

"I know. I'll be there shortly." Emerald says as he throws his bag off of the stage towards Adonis. "Take the bag and put it in the locker. I'll be there in 5 minutes." Emerald said, as his face mask was slowly coming off before he readjusts it once again.

Adonis was about to say something before he let out a grunt and took the bag and began to head towards the office.

-Cut-

"Alright, since I have no idea what these wires are in the first place, I'm just going to avoid stepping on them. Shouldn't be a problem. I mean, I'm only looking at these... Girls? Robots? Animatronics? Bah, same thing." Emerald said as he would duck a little to see Bonnie's face. She was still deactivated like the others, so it shouldn't be a problem to be curious about what they look like up close. After all, the posters showcase them but not in the VIP view kind of way, you know?

"You look chill. I like that." Emerald said to Bonnie, before sidestepping towards Frederika. She wasn't in the same position as Bonnie and Chica, but at least she shows her face even if she was deactivated and not facing the stage floor. "Frederika looks nice. I like the tux." Side-stepping yet again towards Chica, he looked at the clothing the animatronic was wearing and he shrugged. "It's nice," Emerald said. That's really all he could say before ducking down to see Chica's face. As soon as he saw Chica's face, he immediately stood back up with his eyes wide open as well as his heart beating much faster than it naturally did. Chica's left eye was just... Open. Like, it wasn't looking at him or anything like that. It... Was just open. Could it be a malfunction?

"... I really hope I didn't see what I just saw." Emerald shook his head a little before ducking down again to see Chica's face once again, and this time that same eye closed up. He stood back up and brushed his hair a little bit. He thought to himself for a bit before shaking his head once again.

"Ok good. Maaaaaybe I might have been imagining some things, but I'll keep that noted for a little bit." 

Emerald with a bit of a weird vibe coming from this place, would jump off of the stage and went on toward the office where Adonis was located.
