Five Nights In Anime: Reborn - Crimson Mystery

Pre-Night 2

-Emerald's Home-

After the first night of being a security guard at Frederika's Anime Convention passed by. Emerald was in his bed sleeping under the covers. An alarm would ring off as soon as the clock hit 6:00 PM. Without any hesitation, Emerald woke up and slam the top of the clock to shut it up. He yawned as well as stretched, getting up from his bed with drowsy eyes. He slowly walked towards his desk to grab his phone and unplug the charger. He turns it on to see a few notifications from Adonis, another friend of his, and one of them that made him squint his eyes a little was a notification from Emily. Why from his manager at this time? 

Emerald rolled his eyes pressing buttons to read Emily's message.

Hey Emerald! It's Emily! Are you able to come in at around 9:00 PM? Since I couldn't be there for you guys yesterday night, I thought I'd show you guys around a little and see what it's like here during the evening! If you're unable to, let me know! You'll get a bit of extra pay! 

PS: The pay is 1.5x for the 3 hours if you decide to come.

Emerald opened his eyes up a little. He could use a little bit of cash. In a rush, he would do his "morning" routine in a flash.

Emerald drove over to Adonis' house to pick him up. The weather was pretty clear for a moment as the rain began to pour down. Why is it raining again, you ask? Well if you live in Seattle, you'll know that it rains every day. Back on track though, Emerald parked his car on the side of Adonis' driveway. In a moment, Adonis walked out of his house and locked the front door for his parents. He rushed towards the car to open the passenger door and enter the car, with Emerald giving him a fistbump as a greeting.

"Yoooo what's up dude? How are you doing?" Emerald said as he put his car in drive mode.

"I'm doing good, how about you? I'm shocked that Emily decided to give us an early shift today." Adonis replied as he pulled out his phone to look through posts from his other friends.

Emerald smiled a little bit while driving towards the place.

"I've been good. Not great but not bad either." Emerald said, as he listened to the raindrops beat down on his windshield. He turned the windshield wiper on to wipe his windshield.

"That's good. It's a tough world out there and you can't expect every day of your life to be perfect." Adonis said, putting his hand to the side of his seat to pull a lever that pulled his seat back a little. He would also yawn as well for good measure.

"Correct. I'm lucky enough to live in this country of [REDACTED]. Not only that, but my family is chill as hell." Emerald responded.

"Right?" Adonis agreed.

A couple of minutes pass with back-and-forth chatter between the two boys and Emerald pulled up in the parking lot along with about a few other cars too. It was a work night and the kids still had school, so it was obviously going to be closing time then.

The boys got out of the car with Emerald holding the umbrella above himself again with Adonis rushing on over to be under cover from the rain.

Emerald walked up towards the convention entrance to open the doors and saw Tia at the concessions, cleaning up. She waved at the boys with a friendly smile on her face.

"Hey there Emerald and Adonis! I haven't seen you in a couple of days. How are guys doing? Do you guys like the job so far?" She said, putting the broom and butler on the side to come closer to the stand.
