Emerald and Adonis grabbed their belongings and walked out of the office. The two slowly walked down the right hall with Emerald having trouble walking. Emerald was limping really badly and Adonis would have to do something about it. He managed to Emerald's arm over his head and continued to walk down. They were genuinely still frightened from the unlikely occurrences that happened earlier in the night. All of the animatronics and the puppet inside the giant gift box have also moved. They walk into the dining room to see that everything is perfect. Some of the party hats that Chica knocked over were back in their proper place on the tables. It's like nothing happened at all!

"Huh, I see Chica did her part after she knocked over some of the party hats on that table over there..." Emerald said pointing at the table Chica was at earlier in the night.

"That's interesting," Adonis said. "Chica seems to be the nicest one here, but I'm just not sure what to trust here. You know?"

"Right?" Emerald responded.

"Like, do you trust Chica or Foxy more?" Adonis asked, crossing his arms as they walked toward the show stage and sit down on the left side corner of the show stage. "Here, let's sit down so you can rest your leg a little bit. I'll probably have to take a few bandages with me." He chuckled.

"Chica easily." Emerald would reply, smiling. "I know she's quirky in some ways, but Chica has been the nicest one here. She calmed Bonnie down, she asked if I was okay after my leg got cut badly by something here, and... Genuinely speaking, she never seemed weird to me."

Adonis nodded his head and respects the choice.

Chica, while not being completely deactivated just yet; still overheard some of the things both of the security guards were talking about. Chica heard the nice things that Emerald said and let out a very happy smile.

"I would do Frederika too, but I don't know anything about her so far. Bonnie... I think she wants to kill us." Continued Emerald, rubbing his wounded leg a little. He looked at Adonis, who had something to say as well.

"That seems obvious, yeah. Don't forget about Foxy too! She broke a window that we're going to get blamed for. The windows don't show up on the security footage, which sucks."

"You're right, yeah... They're probably going to deduct our pay. ACTUALLY speaking of that, we lost all of our power earlier. Don't we get a deduction from that?" Emerald asked.

"We didn't reboot the generator for more power. We're fine on that." Adonis answers, Emerald nodding his head in understanding."

Emerald sighed, taking a look at his bandaged leg. It still hurts and it still stings. He groaned a little as the sharp pain inevitably comes back to hurt him.

"Ow ow ow ow! Ugh, this hurts man. It really does!" Emerald complained, as he clenched his teeth and held his breath as the pain continues. Adonis would get up on his feet and hold out his hand for Emerald to grab, which he does. Emerald hops onto his right leg, putting no pressure on his left leg.

A manager by the name of Thomas arrived at the place. He was just your average 19-year-old guy but unfortunately, he didn't go to college, so he's doing full-time morning shifts for Frederika's Anime Convention. Thomas took out the keys from his pocket and inserted them into the keyhole, and unlocked the doors; entering the place. Eventually, he would be met by both of the security guards, who he previously saw yesterday morning. Except they were in no hurry, as an injured Emerald would slow their progress. Thomas tilts his head and looks at Emerald's lower leg, which the bandages covering it filled with blood.

"Woah there, what happened to you?" Thomas asked Emerald, who looked down at his leg before looking back up at Thomas.

"Ah, during my night shift, I ran into something sharp. I'm a bit clumsy, so that's why. Just an accident, that's all." Emerald answers the manager, who nodded his head in understanding.

Why did Emerald lie to the opening manager? Why couldn't he tell him the truth of what happened during the night? Would the manager even believe him at all? That is a question for another time.

"Uhh..." Adonis was confused before playing along with it. "Y-yeah! That's right. He ran into something sharp, that's all." Thomas nodded his head as he got ready to head on down to the office.

"Alrighty, that's no problem. You boys take care on the way out. He waived, as he went toward the office.

Adonis sighed and opened the doors to go outside; he couldn't believe what Emerald said.

"Dude, what are you doing?! We need to report this to Emily or any manager! Why did you lie?" He said, taking Emerald to his car.

"I didn't know what to do! Honestly, we could have gotten laid off due to injury, or the police would have to investigate something or something like that!" Emerald panicked.

Adonis could only sigh and looked at Emerald with disappointment.

"We're telling Emily either way."

"I know." Emerald frowned.

"Don't sweat it. Can you drive?" Adonis asked, raising an eyebrow.

"Yeah, I should be able to... Just my right leg is all I need. Let's go home."
