Five Nights In Anime: Reborn - Crimson Mystery

Pre-Night 3

It was around 2:00 PM, midday. Emerald and Adonis were on the road toward Frederika's Anime Convention. The traffic was usually slow, considering the road they were on had no cars on either side. If we're being honest, the location of the convention is in the middle of nowhere. Nonetheless, both of the security guards were driving towards the anime convention to see if Emily was there. Why didn't they both call ahead of time? That's a good question, but perhaps they thought she would be there since it was a weekday.

They arrive at the destination in the parking lot; Emerald parks the car and Adonis quickly gets out to go onto the other side to assist Emerald with walking.

"Cool, we made it," Emerald says, as he slowly gets out of the car groaning in pain. They went to the doctor earlier to get prescribed some painkillers. You know, what they would usually give you.

"Yeah, we did alright," Adonis replied. He looked at Emerald's bandaged wrappings once again. Since Emerald usually wore long pants during this time of the month, he decided to wear shorts so he didn't have to lift up his leg sleeve all the time.

The boys walk toward the anime convention with Adonis opening and holding the door for Emerald. Emerald nods his head and walks inside towards the entrance. He sees a few new faces of employees this time. Tia was there once again working, but once again no Tim in sight. They look at the other two employees who were beside Tia, their names consisted of Yuliana and Tobias. Emerald walked towards the concessions to wave at Tia, who immediately recognizes him.

"Emerald!" Tia shouted with joy. "How are you doing? I didn't expect you to come this early."

Yuliana raised an eyebrow and turned towards Tia. She puts her hand on her own hip.

"You know these two? I haven't seen them around before." Yuliana said, Tia looked at Yuliana and nodded her head with her typical bright smile showing off.

"Yep! We don't know much about each other, but I usually see them around at night when they're here for their security guard shifts!"

"Oooooh..." Tobias would say. "That guy in the mask looks creepy. I'm glad he's a security guard and not an employee like us." 

Emerald looked confused as Yuliana hit his arm and shook her head.

"Sorry about that, Emerald. Tobias doesn't like security guards. Complicated story." Yuliana would say, brushing her hair a little.

"It's whatever. Anyways..." Emerald paused, looking right at Tia. "Have you seen Emily around?"

Tia shook her head. "I have not! She doesn't work today, as the game plan shows."

Adonis facepalmed. This is why they were here in the first place, to talk to Emily. Of course, the day they choose to show up, she's not here. "Of course she isn't here..." Adonis complained with a sigh leaving his mouth. Tia walked around the concessions to stand beside them both.

"What did you need Emily for, anyways? I can leave her a note."

"It... It happened again." Emerald said.

Tia tilts her head, with Tobias and Yuliana looking confused.

"What do you mean it happened again?" Tia asked.

"They moved at night again. You know, they're not supposed to move at night. Emily said so in the email and even her pre-recorded voice call." Adonis crossed his arms. "What's going on?"

Tia pondered for a bit. She didn't know what to say. That's twice now that Emerald and Adonis have said this. She didn't really believe it at first and since it happened a second time, perhaps their report could be correct.
