POV: First

I crept up to the door as the floor boards creaked, I was at my best friends house. They had texted me earlier in school to go over their house, it was strange. They almost never missed school. Putting my hand on the door handle I turned it as it clicked open, slowly opening the door, I peaked my head in. It was pitch black besides the luminous light coming from my best friends open computer screen.

I called out my friend's name, only hearing heavy breathing. The blackout curtains were closed shut, turning my gaze to the slightly open closet door. I walked closer, my body shaking, my breath quick. I turned on my phone flashlight, aiming it in the closet. I saw crimson blood pooling on the floor. My breath hitched as I swung the door open. I sighed in relief seeing my best friend. My face breaking out into a grin.

Their neck was stuck through a hanger. Their body swayed as their blood dripped down from their head and neck. I walked closer, their eyes were slightly open. They set their gaze on me, I could feel them burning holes through my skull, mentally cursing at me. I could just barely hear their breath as they wheezed. Lifting my hand to caress their face, I slightly let out a chuckle, as their eyes finally closed. "It's all your fault."

Just a little thing I thought I'd do.
