(Y/N POV)
You wake up, and as the sunlight shines through the window you look over to Zenitsu.. your beautiful, precious, sweet boy..
As he wakes up his eyes shine like the sun
"Mmh.. good morning, (Y/N)..." he says softly
*you tuck his hair behind his ear*
"Good morning.." you say sweetly
*he holds you close and nuzzles his nose into your neck*
"Are you happy?" You say, knowing the answer, you simply want to hear him say it out loud
"Am I happy?" He questions
Before you can answer, however, he states his answer
"Of course I'm happy!! I've never felt more loved in my entire life!! This is all I've ever wanted... I could die happy right now if I did.."
"And you really want to marry me? You're sure?" You question further
Without answering he looks at you solemnly "(Y/N)....." he has this look of deep understanding and love that makes you want to cry, as the tears well in your eyes he hugs you closer
"I do.. I do want to marry you, more than anything, you have to believe that." He says, finally answering your question.
"I— I want to believe it... I do.. so badly.... I'm just having a hard time... I— I dunno..." you say, hoping he'll understand what you mean, even you don't entirely understand what you mean, but you hope against hope he does.
"I understand... I do.. trust me, (Y/N), I know how you feel" he replies
"It's just insecurity, I promise"
GUYS I'M SORRY, I GOT OUT OF MY ZENITSU PHASE LIKE A YEAR AGO I FORGOT HOW HE ACTS, WHEN I TRY TO ENVISION HIM I JUST SEE DAVID BOWIE😭😭
