"Hey Y/n! Wake up!"

You got up with a jolt. 'Huh..? Didn't I just save Toki and Oden..?' Looking around yourself, you realized that you were in your room. In Shank's ship. 'Huh?' What the hell happened. You were in the past weren't you? Weren't you?

"Hey Shanks... What happened..?" Shanks gave you a weird look, "What do you mean what happened..? We went exploring on the island just a few hours ago and you went straight to bed and knocked out... I hear you yell something so I came to check up on you." Your eyes widened. "What..? Shanks can you give me a moment?" He gave you a worried look for a moment and slowly nodded his head, "Just call for someone of you need anything ok? You know we'll all be there for you." You gave a reassuring smile, "Yeah I know, thanks Shanks."

He stepped out and you looked down on the floor.

Was that all for nothing? Nothing? Nothing?

All that work.. you really thought you could do it. Was it just a dream? But you could've sworn you really did go back in time and save them. It felt so real didn't it? So what happened? Why can't you remember what you did on the island shanks told you about? So all that work was for nothing?

'Wasn't I sent here to save people..? What the hell am I doing them if I can't even save them correctly..?' You grit your teeth. 'What the hell happened? I save them didn't I? Didn't I fucking save them? So you're saying that this all never happened? This is shitty. Who the fuck sent me here.What the hell happened. I don't understand.. I don't unde-'

"Y/n?" A voice snapped you out of your thoughts. "Yes.?" You hesitantly replied. "You ok in there? You missed out on lunch so we brought you some food." 'We?' You waited for them to come inside but no one opened the door. You waited and waited... and waited.. "Why aren't you coming in-" "Oh you weren't answering so we thought you were annoyed.." Shanks slowly opened the door and Benn was right besides him. You gave a small smile, "Thanks guys, I really needed this. Had a bad dream I guess."

"A bad dream? C'mon out! Let's go onto the next island, we're nearing one! Wash away all your thoughts and don't stay stuck in your room!" Shanks practically dragged you out while you were holding your food, trying not to drop it. "Wha- ok! Ok! Let me at least finish eating first!" "Finish eating outside!"

You sighed. 'Maybe I was pushing myself too hard. Maybe the past really can't be changed even with this fruit. I'm sorry Oden and Toki. I'm sorry I couldn't save you.' While saying that in your mind, for some reason you could hear a faint 'it's ok' behind you. You turned your head. 'Was that just my imagination..?'

So... this is the end of Roger's Pirates Special. I mean, there has been no angst so far right? So this is the chapter... and I did say in the beginning that this special has no relation with the main story. It's ok.. you can still save people in the future. Right..?
